Oram hit it right on the button. IPL and other T20 leagues bring in the big cash. International cricket is going to take a back seat, especially the 5-day version. It does not make sense for a fast bowler to keep playing test cricket, considering what happened for Brett Lee/Flintoff and other premium players with injuries. It is unfortunate, but that is how economics are going to drive the game. It is good that Oram gave an honest answer to the question, instead of giving the usual lip service.
