by Sudesh Kumar on Apr 25, 2009 12:13 AM

Wow !!! this is an awesome initiative from Amway... little do we realize that when Gilly hits a six its Amway who pays and not Gilly.... I would love Gilly to hit 6's as this would mean a lot to these kids... Amway way to go.
Remember where there is a will there is AMWAY !!

It is a player's job to hit six. Amway is the one which is giving away a bike for every hit...Great effort by Amway

Gilly The Great

He is a role model for youngsters..
he conducts himself both on and off the field

during the 2003 world cup semis vs Srianka..he spontaniously turned towards the dressing room after he edged to keeper(umpire unsure)...most cricketer would have stayed at wicket given the significance of the match - WORLD CUP SEMIS

Being a deccan fan i looking forward to ANDREW SYMONDS who will join the squad after pak series...Afridi in terrific form 6-30 vs australia last night..undortunately decans missing his services

same man who criticised tendulkar?
by nisha thoas on Apr 22, 2009 08:19 PM  | Hide replies

Wasnt he the guy who called tendulkar lacking in sportsman spirit, in an effort to boost his "books" sale? He probably lost out on endorsment deals, so to regain the indian sponsors trust and the public, which readily embraces western cricketers, Gilchrist has decided to something worthwhile. AS long as kids benefit its ok. But dont forget that Dravid, kumble etc also support worthwhile causes. Media can also show a bit of focus on them.

Gilchrist is the best sportsman in the history.. same Gilchrist & his parents sponsoring kids in indian slums...unlike tendulcar jus fit to get money from his hotels..

when engish team was sponsoring money to mumbai bomb blast this tendulkar sponsored his century.. useless

Ofcourse...

I lost some respect when he asked IT waivers for the Ferrari he imported from Italy. His argument? He was serving the country! Jawans who die for India are seldom remembered. This is India
