For Sachin Haters
by Parminder Singh on Apr 22, 2009 06:35 PM

These buggers are just sachin haters.. ask them if they will leave their job after working for 15-20 years when freshers come up with new talent?

some bugger replied to me yesterday that i was saying illogical when i said the above thing to him. These buggers dont know John Traicos played till he was 46 . Jaisurya is 39. And if he is overage, he will himself know. BCCI or ICC has not made any rules on age of a cricketer.

So let them bark against Sachin. It makes no difference.

Stupid Cricket
by vivek v on Apr 22, 2009 04:40 PM  | Hide replies

Cricket is such a lousy game that at one given point there are only two active players, the bowler and the batsmen..others for e.g fielders at fine leg, deep mid wicket..long on long off etc can put a mattress and sleep. occassionaly they have to wake up and hold the rolling ball.thats why even after century of cricket, only 5 odd nations play and that too is fading. one more thing i fail to understand is why the hell there are no standard size of fileding area..in some palces the stadium is sholrt and runs scored there should count less as compares to MCG, SCG, etc. but its such a sick game that no one bothers about it.look at soccer and basketball f1 etc high adrenaline games that entertains thoroughly.

Looks like a big fool here.Only 5 nations play criket ? No role of fielders in cricket ?Are u talking about the year 1500 ?Boss, come out of your home and talk to a 6-7 year old kid near ur house. I am sure he will guide u properly. Already 12 countries are playing in World cup and 30 other countries are playing qualifying matches to enter world cup. They have 3 different forms of cricket now.Earnings of cricketers are now at per with any other sports person. Cricketers are now among the top earning sportsperson.

Vivek , you know i have seen lots of boring soccer games and other sports, Its all depends upon once taste. You cant generalise it.
You don’t like Cricket fine but you cant claim the game or those who like it. And if you understand cricket then only you will know the beauty and excitement of playing on different grounds of different size and pitches.

Actually, Sachin Tendulkar is SLUMDOG MILLIONAIR !!! Naturally, he is more hungry than others.
BEGGERS must have the right to earn more; evenif SURESH RAINA like players sitting outside.
BEGGERS ARE ALWAYS BEGGERS; & you are teaching the Sachin like begger regarding what to do & what not to do.
Afterall any cricketer is more than satisfied after playing cricket, but it seems that is not applicable to Sachin, because he had saved himself from playing for the nation. Players who played for nation always take the view to retire earlier to give chance to build the team in better manner. Otherwise, there is no any cricket team who will choose SURESH RAINA out of the playing squad.
Keeping logo on helmet of BCCI above INDIA's national flag indicates what are the attitudes of Sachin regarding nation, records, new players & his career as the batsman.

dude suresh raina is just a beginner and doesnt have the tendency to play longer innings.. he can be a yuvraj singh or sehwag in indian team.. so instead of showing Sachin the way out of indian squad, who is persistant in run making and good fieling at slips, let viru or yuvi make way for suresh raina... cauz one strong experienced player is always required in the indian squad compared to 3 not so experienced players. So if u want raina in.. make viru or yuvi sit out of the team. also there is option of yusuf pathan... :)

regarding making way for new players, the new guys have to show caliber like sachin.. and get his spot in the team... Sachin the team hope or rather the moral lifter for indian team in most of the situations during the game is in progress.

East or West Sachin is the best. He proved it so many times. Why others didn't played so many matches? becase they are not capable or fit. Sachin is definately fit than Munaf. He left the captaincy is the truth. Compare the team he had when he was captain. Understand the facts before underestiamte players like Sachin. Even I respect Dravid, Dada, Laxman Sehwag, Kumble, etc. Because they are Legends.

Pankaj, it's pathetic when people talk like this! If a player plays so many years, he'll definitely break the records. Bradmen too played so many years but then only a few matches were played in a year. He truely was a great cricketer but he hadn't played so many matches (around 12 tests and 35 ODI in a year) and hadn't faced a lot of burden in his era that Sachin is facing despite of his unvaluable service to Inidan Cricket.
It's really a shame when people talk like this. I don't say Ganguly is not a good cricketer, he is. So instead of crushing on Sachin let's enjoy their game friends! Both are good on their own.

Rain has upper hand on any day
by a r on Apr 22, 2009 01:34 PM

Rain playing spoil spot in most of the IPL matches. It is frustating to wait for the match to start. Lets hope atleast rest of the matches are not rain dominated.

Even in NZ, rain has helped NZ team to draw the 3rd test.

LALIT MODI'S POLITICS
by ranjith Kumar on Apr 22, 2009 12:02 PM

Hi,
It's purely Lalit modi's politics of shifting the IPL to South Africa in which most of the matches has been washed out due to frequent rain.If he co ordinate with the central govt,The matches will be played in India. The Indian crowd will really enjoyed the IPL matches. The weather is also good in India now. There will be a result for all of the matches played in India.Because his cheap politics,He spoiled the IPL 2 season.

only one match was affected by rain..
in IPL2, it appears more than 50% of matches are going to be affected by rain.
it is shame as even after empahtic win, the team does not feel deserving winners.
IPL2 is going be washed out by rains.
