The Knights of Kolkata 'made' good 'Kings' at Kingsmead, Durb
by Sneha on Apr 22, 2009 03:24 PM

Congratulations to Team KKR!!

Mr.Brendon, Gayle's gait(footwork) worked really great to strengthen the KKR's score; and Brendon, you yourself are an excellent batsman & that your team must be getting encouraged without much efforts. Hence, special congratulations to both of you.

Though both KKR & Kings of Punjab were obviously eager to embrace their first triumph in the 2nd season of IPL, your squad managed to restrict the Team Punjab, to win the 6th match of the tournament by 11 runs & yes, with significant help from the rain, followed by D/L method.

But, yes, certainly, no reason for Yuvraj & Co. to be upset; much of the IPL season is waiting for these semi-finalists of last IPL season, to register several King-size victories. Its a matter of improving the team's manner of playing in all the departments & support from the team's fans.

So, Team Punjab get poised to conquer the approaching battle. Wish you all the best of your efforts & fortunes to prove detrimental to the next opponent marching towards you!!

Sneha T (Kings XI Supporter)
From Mumbai

Tough Luck for KingsXIPunjab
by a r on Apr 22, 2009 01:24 PM  | Hide replies

Both their games have been Rain Effected and luck not going in their favour.

KingsXI had their chances yesterday, dropped Gayle twice, who smashed at will taking momentum away. Had they took the chances that came their way, they would have won the match under D/L method.
Better Luck guys.

I totally disagree with u.Person like u are really sentimental.Kings xi panjab lost only two matches (unfairly due to rain interupt) & u are saying yuvi is not fit to be a captain. They are last years semi finalist that time u haven't said he isn't fit to be a captain.
