USA shall never allow cricket (#2 sport) to flourish because it may kill baseball (#7). Once the americans understand cricket samjho baseball ki chutti, thou T20 shall be more popular than ODI and tests due to its duration. Baseball is much much simpler than cricket. No bouncers, no spin, no googly none.

>>cricket (#2 sport)
Good Joke!
The game has followers only in sub continent, and even in SA, Aus, Eng it is followed by oldies and a small population. A lazy mans game that fails to find 10 decent teams to compete in world cup! You are a good joker.

thik hai boss.. let us be lazy.. u be active. There are a billion in india another half billion in rest of Colonial countries follwoing cricket..
So, let one and half billion of us be lazy.. oh.. i forgot, u are not among one and half billion rite.. so, do ur math by removing ur number(being very active.. u must be good at math, isnt it?) and arrive at followers of cricket vs baseball.

if i recall, base ball is popular in americas(north and south), japan which doesnt say great about it though. What say?

Cricket is the #2 sports in the world...It may be followed only in subcontinents but it is the fact! Unbelievable isn't it. I am telling this after watching a full 1 hour programme on Cricket in BBC news channel in Germany (a country where cricket is hardly known), they said Football is #1 and Cricket is #2 in the world...

dost, every sport in this world has spectators and it can arouse interest only when one tries to understand it. the cricket board of USA are looking forward to jump into the 20-20 league as they have learnt from IPL that its big money. Tests and ODI are loosing the charm due to its length, but T20 rocks!! About other countries, visit cricinfo and you shall be surprised to see the number of countries playing cricket.

slayer, tennis is not in the category of golf and other sports.. It is the most entertaining sport in the world and loved by all other sport fanatics such as cricket, football, rugby, etc.

Unlike India, in the US, there is room for every sport imaginable, whether football, soccer, baseball, basketball, hockey(ice), tennis, golf, lacrosse etc. US is the land of opportunity.
Who really cares if cricket comes or not- only the stadia owners and the media, who stand to make a great deal of moolah from the the faithful fans.

T20 WC 2009 India is going without Sachin Tendulkar
by Siddhanta Goel on Apr 21, 2009 06:54 PM

This refer to the forthcoming Twenty20 Cricket world cup where team India is going without Sachin Tendulkar.

BCCI should request Sachin to goto the tour, a lot of people are going to watch the cricket match in UK just they wants to see him in action along-with other team members.

I know its too late but nothing is impossible, please try atleast for league matches (starting with IND Vs. Bangladesh match)

Cricket is to USA what wimming/gymnastics is to India.

They are simply not interested in cricket and soccer & rugby remain their favourite sports.

Did he say anything wrong? I am not sure MLS is the most preferred sport. Cricket is too complex compared to Baseball.. And y have another sport like cricket when they have baseball to like.

Viceversa for Europe.. American football, Ice hockey and baseball are not the most preferred sport in Europe. WHy bring in a american football, baseball or icehockey, when Soccer, Rugby and cricket are there in UK or any other colonial or ex-colonial state.

I guess, robin u need to respect the thought of everyone on this forumm .. You are not making any thing clearer by calling names "intelligent boy" or something like that. its a forum and u r not the moderator. Let everyone voice their opinion.
