I think is one of the greatest players ever to play the game, i am sure he would have loved to play some more years. Because the teams poor performance and internal politics he resigned.

PRIYE HE HE HE,lara didnt retire but left the game as there was no cricket left in him, sachin does not have that problem, look he is still providing inspiration to younger and older lot in ipl. you should try to hold the bat to see how it looks like to be a batsman. sachin is undoubtedly the best of all times

Both sachin & Lara are great. But these media & some biased fan try to make even ordinary Dhoni as great, which is absurd. he always win because of luck & his team performance but take credit for enttire thing for doing nothing. There are some looby in media eg NDTV etc who keeps hyping him for nothing.

So if you have the guts complain to the top most boss and quit. Secondly when the discussion is cricket and who is a better player why do you want to discuss your personal problem here?

You have answered the question yourself, when you mentioned that the work allotted to you does not suit a person of your callibre. If you are not happy and satisfied with your job (whatever it might be) software engineer or sweeper, you should quit it.

the reason that world is not paying attention to this problem is,if they stand by it then they will have to stop genocide else where also which is going on in the name of war against terrorism, this so called war is only taking lifes of civilians particularly women and children and old people all over the world, no troop is eliminating the terrorrists. other factor is that humanitarian agencies do not see any gain in fund raising for the relief of tamil victims in srilanka as there is hardly any big organisation or people who could fund them large amounts.
