Lara is the mordern day great so is Ricky Ponting.Both excelled playing while leading their teams.They can take responsibility of captaining and still playing well.sachin is spoon fed to just score and nothing else.To become a complete player you should play well while captaining.
Moreover Cricket has basically become an Indian game.Nobody cares.In western countries nobody talks about cricket.Only Indian origin people are impressed with cricket. Indian kids are fooled to believe that cricket is a world game.

When two people meet, you exchange nice words if someone has achieved something in their respective fields. Lara is an achiever, definitely in the same league as Sachin.
Infact, same thing happened when Sachin was invited to meet with Michael Schumacher.. Both had nice words for each other. Its all admiration and statements for the occassion
