I wish Deccan Chargers offers him a place in the team... he is an awesome player to be left out.... he deserves a chance to prove himself....

Have some pity on Deccan Chargers. They are already under a pressure to perform, courtsey their last year's dismal show . Why to upsurge their miseries?

This discussion is good. T20 is not for caliber or classy players like Dravid or Laxman or Sachin or Kaif. This is for slam bang types who can only stand for 15-20 overs where they do not need technique or class but just few long handle shots. Kaif is certainly going to make a comeback in Test and ODI teams once Dravid and Sachin retire . He will one day lead India as well when India gets tired of Dhoni. Kaif's captaincy skills are proven. Look at his track record when he lead India under19 or India 'A' or UP Ranji Trophy teams. And notwithstanding his fielding prowess and the fact that he is still India's fittest cricketer even today. Good luck folks.

MD.kaifs ruling out shows that they are losersin this version of ganes a sthe team entirely cannot be dpend on person but kaif is a catalyst who can be used in all department of game and can be benefecil in the slog overs.

Kaif is a better player for 50 over matches not for 20/20.

agreed dude.. He rotated the strike well in 50-50 overs.. In 20-20 we need power hitting also.
Though, I think his batting was wasted at no. 7.. he should have given oppurtunity to bat at 5 or 6

by i nikah on Apr 15, 2009 10:21 PM  | Hide replies

though Rroyals won last edition of the IPL but were not profit earners. And kaif was costliest player in last edition and his value for money was below thatn other players like yususf pathan so got axed this time and instead of him 9 more player(of the same price money of kaif) were inducted in game.
