They can do like the NFL's and allow the iCL and IPL to run concurrently, and then hold a cricket 'super-bowl'. BCCI cannot be allowed to run roughshod over cricket- neither ICC nor BCCI owns cricket.
Why no Senior players in frm india is not in the management of Bcci. Becoz it is controlled by the corrupt politicians and business man frm india. List of corrupted persons in BCCi Sharad pawar,Lalit modi,Sashank Manohar etc.....

Hahahahah, very well said Sajan Kumar. I fully agree with you in this matter. BCCI should be punished. Long live ICL...They only know Money and Muscle power and not a single knowledge of cricket which ICL people are showing.
It will become another situation like in the late 70s when Tony Greig and Co . went to court .The BCCI is more of a culprit here . Its controlling the ICC with its financial clout .I don't see why players like Shane Bond,Justin Kemp etc should be denied the right to play for their country

YOu are absolutely right Ashwin Ramaswamy. ICL should drag ICC/BCCI to court for its RECOGNITION..... We fully support ICL..Long Live ICL......
Subhash Chandra from ZEE TV first invented ICL with some former player like Kapil Dev & others and had discussions with BCCI. But talks failed on sharing profits or revenue. He wants to do some devlopment along with earn some money. BCCI stole this idea and started IPL as they have more strong hold and grounds and others boards backing. ICL wants to starts one day and 5 day games also. They got retired international crickers and some rejected indian cricketers and frustuated youngsters who can't see future with BCCI went to ICL. There intensions was good, but only suffered b'coz of powerful BCCI

I fully agree with you Iftekar Dabir.....But there are lots of young talented players who are playing in ICL....The Monopoly of BCCI should and must end.

it is original idea of t20 in india. bcci cant be a boss, it is a private trust.how it represents india only god knows.it is very rich, hence icl is suffering.

Hello Kunjan Shah, I fully agree with you that BCCI cant be a boss of anyone. Let ICL drag ICC/BCCI to court for its recognition.... Long live ICL....
well, frankly, the IPL implementation is better. but thats entirely due to the monopoly of BCCI . if the grounds were available to ICL - then it would have been a hit. also, subash chandra does not know the ABCs of marketing. he should have made the ICL free to air, not paid. he lost the plot entirely.
also, as soon as icl started the indian team had many positive changes:
* the management immediately started improving, because the indian team was in dumps * selectors became accountable * team members too were accountable, it was a challenge for them * things started to improve.

hey lets stop hating stuff..please stop this!! y do yo hate pak players??they r innocent n jus humans.start lovin ppl lovin arnd yo n m sure yo'l njoi it..take care
Cricket, like other sports, should have only one official governing body in each country. Only the matches that are organized by the official governing body should be considered "official". In this respect, BCCI should rightly be the only body that should be recognized by ICC. If ICL is given the official recognition then tomorrow 10 other companies will open their own format of T20 and will ask for recognition. I used to play in a tournament having 30 teams in gujarat. Does it mean our tournament should also be given official recognition? ICL has a right to organize cricket tournaments and people have right to play in it if they want, but that is it; it shouldn't have any official status.

ICL try to organised with BCCI only, but they are asking lot of share in profit. Then BCCI thinks, if outsider can make so much profite then they themselves can start and earn more money. It's question of Money only. MOney hai to honey hai mere Dost

Go Sue or Screw Who care? This Z TV man has so much money let him him to go and screw wherever he want. Tell me Boss frankly keep your hand on your heart how many young players are there in ICL? For money only these old and retired players join this ICL. Till he was a selector he was with BCCI when his terms end he joins ICL, shame on you More Kapil etc etc

I strongly critize Manjunath's comment on ICL. There are lots of young and talented players playing in ICL. I think u havent seen a single match of ICL thats why u r saying like a fool. Long live ICL....We are with ICL....
Re: No recognition

ICL should be given RECOGNITION.... I strongly oppose Raman's comment..... We are with ICL... Plz keep it in mind that ICL has started BEFORE the IPL and IPL is the copy/xerox of ICL......
It is competitive world.Cricket is not Olybic sports and India it is not under got control.Hence BCCI is the sole representative of cricket in India and they cannot monopolise the game. All stadium/infrastructure should be offered to ICL also
