If you are registered, even though you don't have voter-id, you can take any photo identity like PAN card passport, ration card driving license etc and cast your vote.. don't miss the chance to vote for the right leaders and bring a change.....
Having stayed in Bengal I know for sure that they can't rule India ..bunch of lazy and coward people. They can't save there own jobs.e.g. Nano Fiasco.
But I can't help appreciating Bengalis artistic nature. They are good at Art.
Lalu can rule though.Jai ho (Lalooji ki) ;-)

The modus operandi for illegal immigration is simple. A local dada in the city, usually a Bangladeshi, summons a few of his fellow countrymen through ‘travel agents’ who smuggle them in, sometimes by bribing the Bangladesh Rifles at the Bangladeshi end of the border and the Border Security Force (BSF) at the Indian end.

Police sources point out that deporting Bangladeshis is difficult because of several hurdles. First, local intelligence is poor, making it difficult to distinguish a Bangladeshi from a Bengali or a Bihari.
Secondly, political will is weak. Political parties sometimes raise a ruckus, but it dies down the moment the issue becomes irrelevant or politically sensitive. In the late 1990s, when the Shiv Sena-BJP regime resolved to evict Bangladeshis from the city, the opposition came not so much from Bangladesh as from certain West Bengal politicians. The drive ground to a halt within a few weeks.
In any case, it is not easy to deport an illegal Bangladeshi immigrant. It is learnt that in the entire state of Maharashtra, only one officer of the rank of superintendent of police (SP) is authorised to initiate the deportation process. The SP gets in touch with the inspector general of the BSF in West Bengal, who has been designated as the nodal officer for deportation cases since 1997.

Bangladeshi migrants are in Delhi, Mumbai, Assam, Kolkata and in every major cities. How is Bengalis to blame for it? How is a Bengali a traitor for this? How does it become the job of a Bengali to go and gurad the border to prevent migration???

Bengal politicans opposed because they were deporting them to Bengal not to Bangladesh. If they would have deported them back to Bangladesh then BJP ShivSena could have gone ahead with their plans because they did not require Bengal politician's permission for such deportation. If the will power would be there that could have been done. And as for commies I wont comment anything. But my arguement is for Bengalis.

1)You think Bangladeshi migrants in Mumbai have voter i cards from Bengal? No. It happens everywhere. 2) BSF is under central govt. 3) Deportation concerned only Maharashtra and Central govt. Bengal ministers appeal/plea had no standing on it if they would have the political will they could have done it.

They are in all the major cities. Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Assam's cities and villages. Then how come the average Bengali is to blame for it? They are getting rations cards, driving licenses, birth certificates everything. How is a Bengali to blame for it? Broder security is done by BSF which is not under state govt.

Commies are bad but I will not agree that all commies are traitors. There has been a gradual degeneration of political honesty which has taken place in all parties. Commies have in the past done some excellent work in rural Bengal. Please dont argue on this and read about land reforms in Bengal. That was probably the best in India. That is why they had a goodwill in rural bengal all these days and wud win mainly based on that. Do not blame their long tenure on the stupidity of Bengalis but get to the bottom of things before commenting. I am sure you did not know these things? And please refrain from using words like Bengali commies bengali traitor. Believe me you wont like it to be called a marathi traitor, etc. There are problems in Mumbai too which I do not need to go into over here. Understand that everything is not perfect anywhere and do not give degrading statements for general public of any community or region. I think my statement is fair?

Nope ur wrong again, Shiv Sena and BJP were ruling in Maharashtra and they wanted to deport all Bangladeshi's in Mumbai back to Bangladesh but the ruling central govt. and West Bengal govt. did not approve of this :-)

You are free to have your opinion. But refrain from including all bengalis in derogatory remarks. Its insulting to sat the least and for no obvious fault of the entire community. Deportation is deportation and enroute is not considered. The problem is that the BJP SHivSena wanted to show off to mainly mumbaikars that they have done something without taking the entire burden on themselves. They would deport them to Bengal and that would be the end of their responsibility. That will not be acceptable to another state whichever it may be.
