Why people talk bad about Sachin Tendulkar?
by LG on Apr 15, 2009 02:58 PM

There are people, although very few in numbers- whose only objective in life is to malign SRT. Such people belong to one or all of the following categories:

People who, unfortunately, were brought up around unhealthy environments that make them attention seekers (I mean they have been deprived of love and affection in their childhood. Such people always says just opposite to what is universally true or accepted by experts)

People who could not achieve whatever little they wanted to (Such people hate people who are best in what they do)

Cricketers (Including Indian national team) who suffer from inferiority complex because of Sachin (talking big in front of media does not always means that the person is confident—likewise, not all the actors and actress are confident)

People who are hired by players’ sponsors to increase the values of their players by maligning Sachin (very cheap marketing stunt). What can I say; they are the poor souls, as they have to earn their livelihood by maligning others.

Please think before you criticize someone like Sachin
by rajeev sanger on Apr 15, 2009 02:30 PM

If Jaisurya can entertain people with his game at this age why can't Schin keep playing T20 ..
The irony is that ,when the entire cricketing fraternity all great legends have always applauded sachin as a player and the kind of charisma and interest he brings to game our own people cannt understand his worth and so easily get carried to criticize him ...
Believe me no other player in the entire world had been going out in the field with the burden of expecation from a 1 billion people ....
And I am not saying this Shane Warne put Sachin above the Lara becoz of this factor only.

It is of late that our team has some very reliable player like Gambhir,Sehwag ,YUvi that all players are playing there natural game without any pressure ..

But this has not been the case with sachin in last 20 years ..for almost 14 years he had been the nucleus of batting if he is gone people will shut their TV ...
But he performed in almost 90% of those scenarios ..but still you have grievences /Complain about him....

When he scores in every match and take you too the main final and their he fails people get a reason to say "he doesn't play in big occassions" If fails in league matches and plays winnin knock the final ones like recently in Australia ,people say that now he has secured his place for future...

So no matter whetever he does some people wil always have reason to criticize him ...
It is SAD becoz we Indians are among those people who criticize him most ..

Just thin

Will u stop criticizing Sachin. If he ever wants to be a part of that team, he just have to tell the selector, and I'm sure he will do great. Think about how capable you are in ur life...You must be a loser.

But he is not. Because for a dud like you, you will need an uncle to get you by. Even if you had an uncle who put you in a lousy gulli team you would not know the right side of a bat. That's why you are rotting in your miserable life puking at a passerby at the first chance you get.

All the people who comment that Sachin is doing this and that for money are the ones either in IT or in call center or sitting in some foreign country writing this. Let's see.

We all do this job because either we enjoy our job and for money. Sachin is exactly doing that doing something for money and what he loves to do. In addition he has fame which none of us have. Plus he does a million time better job of his job than any of us.
So? why are you putting him down?

Let's see the reasons why they nay Sayers argue

1. Someone who lives in the past and insists that Schin should really play well each and every time he picks up the bat to keep his reputation alive or retire. Even though his averages are better than most.

2. A disgruntled fan who is a fan of another cricketer who didn't do too well.

3. A racist who believes that only a cricketer from his/her state should be number 1 or should be the hero. Others must be put down feverishly

4. A spoiler, every family has one who just argues for the sake of arguing knowing very well within that he/she is wrong.

dude why u r breaking ur head when SACHIN himself said " I would have loved to be there but I FEEL it could DISTURB the COMBINATION and that's the only reason I have stayed out of the (Twenty20) team. I think u should respect his thoughts..

That's the point. Sachin Tendulkar being the great that he is has very noble thoughts but there are people who pull him down even for saying the right things. Losers.

We are lucky that we got to see such a master in action. Be thankful instead of criticizing him.

ONLY FOR MONEY
by Aries aries on Apr 15, 2009 12:23 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin puts self interest before the team. Only interested in making money. Once when dravid declared innings , tendulkar who aws in the nineties got upset.Dravid declared because sometimes in test cricket scoring even 7 to 8 runs can take 20 to 30 minutes and since only 1 hour of play was left , dravid wanted to bowl and try to get some wickets to put pressure on Australia.

This shows that sachin is a selfish player and that is why he could never be a sucessfull captian , because a captain has to think of the team first and only after that about personal glory.

mr idiot who so ever u are, first try to have complete information, the match was not played against India and Australia, it was with India and Pakistan and in Pakistan, and still there were two days left for the match including more than 30 overs of days play, when Dravid declare the inning.
Sachin is such a personality you have to take many births before pointing him out on his selfishness.

dude even if the match was against pakistan.. there was only 1 day left.. and we had around 10-12 overs left on the fourth day.. sachin was alos informed about the days plan.. but he was more foccused on his 200 .. India declared we took 1 or 2 wickets that evening and won the match... Try to put the country first .. then the individuals..

My friend you have misunderstood me. Let there be no doubt , Sachin is a very very good player.Nobody except the great Don Bradman was better than him.

I am only saying that he puts self interest before the team.He is also in the game now only for thye money. He is very money minded. Example No duty on his ferrari , BPCL supplies him with free petrol for his ferrari , tried to get Sushil Kumar Shinde , CM OF Maharashtra to allot him a free site in Bandra , but CM refused etc etc.

But Aries, Dravid could ve atleast inform Sachin tht he is about to declare and have couple of overs to reach his 200 as he was just 6 runs shy of tht milestones and Double Tons are once in a life opportunity.

In a small town in America, a person decided to open up his bar business, which was right opposite to a church. The church and its congregation started a campaign to block the bar from opening with petitions and prayed daily against his business.

Work progressed. However, when it was almost complete and was about to open a few days later, a strong lightning struck the bar and it was burnt to the ground.

The church folk were rather smug in their outlook after that, till the bar owner sued the church authorities for $ 2million on the grounds that the church through its congregation & prayers was ultimately responsible for the demise of his bar shop, either through direct or indirect actions or means.

In its reply to the court, the church denied all responsibility or any connection that their prayers were reasons to the bar shop's demise. In support of their claim they referred to the Benson study at Harvard that inter-cessionary prayer had no impact !

As the case made its way into court, the judge looked over the paperwork and at the hearing and commented:

"I don't know how I am going to decide this case, but it appears from the paperwork, we have a bar owner who believes in the power of prayer and we have an entire church and it's devotees that doesn't."
Seejoy typical case of Sachin and his fans.

he simply cannot (not able to) withstand the pressure of t20. it is the only reason he is keeping himself out. he cannot create records in this format of the game. he always plays for records.

If that is the case.... let others in the team also play for record sake... please let me know if they will be so successfull doing that!!!! U need the right technique and mindset to create records.... It cannot come just like that without talent.... All I can say is that, u can find fault in anything and everything.... I can even say that he is playing right handed, only because of that he is scoring runs... he is playing for years and just because of that he is making records....
