Abhishek certainly deserves to play for India and if at all there is a rotation policy, it has to be from a larger basket and not confined to the 15/16.

2. VVS LAXMAN class all over,he is going to be an important member because of south african conditions
3.H GIBBS last edition big flop this time playing under home conditions and in good for (scored hundred against australia in 4th oneday)
4.ROHIT SHARMA right man at no 4, in good form ,..scored 48 ball 85 notout in yesterday warm up
5.SCOT STYRIS handy alrounder ..south african conditions suit his boling and batting style
6.venugopal rao big success last editions..right man at no 6..very good player of spin and medium pacers
7.ravi teja X-FACTOR..tailor made for 20-20..regular member of INDIA A
8.HARMENDER BANSAL / SHOIAB AHMED rookie fastbolwers lot of promise
9.PRAJYAN OHJA quality spinner..key member this time
10. RP SINGH he has good record in south africa specially in 20-20 WC 2 yrs ago..these conditions suit his bowling style

NOTE : the big difference this edition is their bowling plenty of variety edwards--raw pace,RP singh--left armer who can swing the ball, OHJA --quality spinner, rookie fast bowlers with alrounder like Styris and dwyne smith

Reasons Are... DDD - Sehwag/Gautam/ABD are in supreme Form Having Mcgrath too. Deccan Ch.. Watch out for Gibbs & Roy with RP & Vassy. Mumbai Indians ... With Zak in the team Bowling would be amazing with Pollock/ Bhajji - all matches/Bravo.And With Duminy in the team backing is absolutely amazing. Kings XI - Almost all are Young & telented with aggresive attitude.
BRC will improve this time but making KP as a captain will have problems to raise more. KKR - Suddenly miss - Sohaib Akthar/Umar Gul/Salman Butt. Ponting is not in Best form. Rusty Agarkar/Murali Kartik would not have more to do. Watch out for Wriddhiman Saha/Ajanta Mendis - are Only hope. Chennai Super - Having Floop Hayden/ Mike Hussy, M Ntini - not is best form. But Having A Morkel/Suresh Raina can change the slot and raise them to 5th or 6th. Raj Royals - Def miss Sohail Tanvir a lot. Watson not played since long, Injury Concern for Smith. and Over confidence will let down.

DC had an even better team last time - but they ended up last .,Chennai Superkings,Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab will definitely make it to the semis .as for Mumbai ,Delhi and Chennai I agree with your points .But Chennai were finalists last time and are now strengthened by addition of the dynamic Freddie Flintoff .It will be a tight tussle between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians for the semifinal . But RR cannot progress further due to absence of Tanvir and Watson .

1. Banglore (reason:South africans, petersen,boucher,styn and kallis.Along with inform ryder and strong indian contingent) 2. Delhi & Mumbai (reason: strong internation players who are in form and know SA conditions as well some good proven Indan players involved) 3. Chennai (Flintoff though new to IPL should easyly pick it up and Raina badrinath balaji along wiht some strong leader ship in Dhoni should help)
Mostly Banglore vs Chennai semis chennai to win Delhi vs Mumbai delhi to win
Finals Chennai bt Delhi
Just a vague take. 20-20 nothing is so stright about it not even a stright bat shot. ;-)
Punjab will end up very weak with a loss of lee sreesanth marsh and hopes.

Uttappa should be dropped. He is useless in any form of cricket. Guy with his lazy eyes and dumb look can't do anything good on the field.
Consider bringing in IK Pathan or RA Jadeja or A. Nayar in place of him. These guys give more options in bowling. I would have Dhoni come right after Yuvraj and the YK pathan followed by RA Jadeja.

Its a good team but having so many batsmena nd having Yusuf so deep and not having the fifth bowler who can bowl some b=medium pace can hurt in england. Irfan solves all those probelms though am not a big fan of Irfan these days for 20-20 he serves better. Cos lets say one of the bowlers get hit badly on the first over its always good to have a back up pacer though u have back up spinner but in england u need a pacer.

I agree. Irfan has been big disappointment. If he gets his bowling even a little bit in line again, he is your guy. You don't need him to be a strick bolwer, but a bowler who can keep pressure on by not giving up too many runs. He can bat a bit as well.
If he gets good old swing back, he can get his permanent place in the team back.
