by UMI SHAH on Apr 04, 2009 04:05 AM  | Hide replies

Australians IF THEY DON'T HAVE COMMITMENT TO IPL and give excuses of rest or local matches SHOULD NOT HAVE OFFERED THEMSELVES.
SAVES A LOT OF MONEY FOR OVERPRICED AUSTRALIANS for SPONSORS.
THE ONLY AUSTRALIANS LEFT TO GO HOME IS JOHN and he can try his FOUR CAPTAINS THEORY WITH POINTING for AUSTRALIAN TEAM.

As if those who take the team to the semis don't matter and can be brushed aside for someone who has not proved his worth in the tournament.

hahhahhaaaaaa.....Not proven his worth. Hayden and Hussey were the leading scorers for Chennai Super kings before they returned to national duties during the last season of IPL. Go get your facts right, Raghavendra.

Australians are not money-hungry people
by Anjar on Apr 03, 2009 08:42 PM  | Hide replies

the way indian players like sachin, saurav etc. are continuing despite their age of retirement shows how much money hungry they are.

see how the cricketers esp. of Australia retire despite being in their prime. Players like Alan Border, Waugh brothers, Shane Warne, Craig, McDermot, Mark Taylor etc .retire well before time while our players keep on playing in the LUST of money & records.

we, indians, are the most selfish & unprofessional people in the world. all we care for is money, not for pride & self-respect.

all those who typed below can't see the nexus between BCCI, cricketers, capitalists, mafias & match-fixers who are fooling all of us for at least last 15-20 years.

cricket is needed for the capitalistic forces so that they sell their carcinogenic scrap like pepsi, coke, potato chips, pizzas to us; extort money from us, pay a part of it as a commission to the players & rest siphon it out of the poor man's reach.

its very surprising how these handful persons made the fool of the entire nation in the name of patriotism & we indians are the most pseudo-patriots on this earth.

cricket is not the sports to keep knowledge about. it is the game of politicians, capitalists, mafias & match-fixers.

all other sports require heavy discipline while its only cricket where one can drink alcohol every day, party every night & still be a cricketer. cricket is a shame on all sports.

335 - Tendulkar's aggregate in the series - The most number of runs scored by any Indian batsman in a series on New Zealand [Images] soil. Tendulkar surpassed Ajit Wadekar's tally of 328 runs (in 1967-68).

so what do you have to say about it. i guess its always performance that matters whether they make money or not.

tendulkar is keeping on playing. after one any international level batsman can score a century in an average of 5 matches.

there is nothing meritorious in that.

these players were forced to retire by their boards while BCCI wants the indian ones to play. its only money that is in the air.

i don't follow the anti-national sport cricket at all coz it had only helped the politicians, mafias, match fixers to mint money while we all have been fooled in the name of patriotism by a nexus of them.

cricket is the worst sports on this earth. its players promote alcohol brands, cigarette brands. cricketers want us to become alocholics & drug addicts.

STEVE WAIGH AT ALMOST 39....
MCGRATH AT 37
WARNE AT 38

AND SOME MORONS CRY 4 SACHIN TO RETIRE..HE IS LEADING RUN GETTER IN CURRENT TOUR TO NZ BOTH IN TESTS AND ODIS....

u moron shekhar, i am not talking abt age, i am talking abt performance.

all those whose names you are taking were playing very well when they retired.

the fact is, the auzzies don't play for records & money. while indian players only want to earn money by selling us the known carcinogenic products like wills cigarettes, coke, pepsi, potato chips.

these players don't even feel the shame when they advertise for alcohol. these moron cricketers are responsible for making the young generation alcoholic. shameless creatures called as cricketers who take steroids to play the matches.

tell me, why there is no DOPE TEST for indian cricket players when it is there in australia, NZ, england everywhere
