Crowe knows which side of his bread is buttered. He knew his contract with cricketnirvana, an Indian site, would not last long post his rants against Sehwag. Understandable stuff from Crowe, but respect for him in my mind has dropped quite a bit.
martin crowe is more ln the mould of his tran tasmanian neighbour cricketers like hayden and ponting, always shooting off his mouth. he came to IPL for RCB, didnt do anything , made some neat money and ran away. later he criticised zaheer and now sehwag. he should learn from the humble new zealand legend hadlee

I do not think v need to give much importance to these comments. He may have been a player, but v Indians have watched more cricket than anyone else... v know what is right and what is wrong... and v also know what our crickters are...
dear ashish I appreciate your comments on sehwag and looks you are agreat fan of his,but before commenting about dravid please learn little bit about cricket because dravid is one of the all time greats and has the best overseas record in tests even better then the great sachin tendulkar
Sehwag was a poor captain....but majority of the people in India do not like to increase his captaincy skills by sacrificing his skills in batting. Let him play his own game... Need not to give any suggestions / lessons to him. In current indian team, there are plenty of captaincy skilled players...

Firstly Team India is not delhi dare devils. secondly selectors had better choice like dravid or tendulkar or laxman to assist dhoni as vice captains rather then sehwag.Or for that matter even zaheer khan could be a better vice captain as he assist his bowling department.Secondly there is no dought that in this era there is no batsman like sehwag he is class apart.He is the perfect match winner aggressive and rock solid but as captain a bit difficult ask for him.

First game as a captain and so much criticism?That is harsh.The guy will do well with more experience.We need not see too much into it.We came out with immense character.The draw was from a situation from were India would have lost 9 out of 10 times as in the past.The team did well to save the game. Some people have just try to demoralize the team India.That will not happen. The boys will do us proud. Let the crows crow.
Increasingly I see naive people analyze and criticize others 'strategies' and they point to others failures as indication of their own success. Sehwag is the same..he plays the same shots everytime. Sometimes he gets out sometimes he scores 300. So when he gets out these analysts start criticizing him when he scores a century they start calling him brilliant.what a waste of time and energy for all who listen and those who say such things. Either a person is good or bad he cannot be both at the same time!!
I have always thought of Sehwag as one of the best batsman since he played in his first one dayer and got man of the match scoring 55 runs and 3 wickets!! I never ever changed my opinion even when he was not playing well. Talented guys may fail sometimes but that does not make them bad. And incompetent guys like dravid succeed sometimes but can never be good.

Ashish , Dravid an incompetent ??well mate there arent too many around who have scored 10K runs and you can not be rated as one of the best in buisness just by playing good sometimes .

Martin Crowe is really a great player. To accept a fault and move on is good to see. Sehwag's captaincy skills can be assessed only over a period of time

Ashish, When you say something, please analyse/assess that if you are revealing the fact. Dravid Incompetent? !! "Talented guys may fail sometimes but that does not make them bad. "----- Do you know what is a talent? I doubt! Learn something about the cricket, review the cricket records and come here and comment. Well, lastly, just by your comments, Dravid's reputation of being a Wall doesn't suffer. Great batsmen never talk, rather let their bat do the talking!

Dravid is techinally most competent Indian Batsmen. I think he is better than Sachin. He was overshadowed by Sachin and glamour. Till he gave up captaincy he averaged 57. better than any other Indian. Learn about cricket, batting don not get swayed by your own naiveness.

dont even try to compare dravid with sachin.....had sachin been playing like dravid by becoming a WALL India would have lost more than double test matches of wht it has lost till now and sachin would have scored more than 30000 runs....cricket matches are not won by defending the ball and saving the wicket ...but by scoring runs....I dont understand why Dravid walks with a Bat in his hand when he goes for batting ....any ways he is going to leave the ball alone......

It was Dravid when he partnership with Laxman in Calcutta,a historic game.233 runs in australia where India beats aussie after long time.Recently in newzealand we are able to draw the losing match coz of dravid.Did you have any remembering innings of sachin in your mind where he save or win Test for india in crutial time.

Sehwag is among India's top 3 Batsmen now but Captaincy is not about "RECKLESSNESS"..Sehwag's bn playing for 8 years now...he should not act so dumb atleast when he is CAPTAINING!
