Doesn't matter. We'll ask Gangu to open the innings. He'll stay at the crease for 3 days at least. Only thing is we'll ask him to play outside the stadium and warn no one to bowl even a single ball to him, lest he may get out.

Ravi:

McCullum became a southpaw when the correspondent inadvertently saw his reflection in a mirror.... :)

Given that this is the first cricket article from the poor newbie, you should pardon the author... :)

This is poor if really McCullum is banking on winds to win the games. Somebody please convey him you win by playing good cricket and not freezing winds blow up.Dhoni is back in next match so save your a... if you can. He is more chilling than wind...

Looks like you have forgotten those day when you use to pray rain god to avoid humiliating defeat of team India.

Nothing poor really. McCullam already said how stong this Indian team is and that him and his team mates are learning art of batting by watching Draavid, Sachin, VVS bat.. And so he hops the weather will help him beat this 'Strong' Indian team is understandable..

Good thinking . . .
Next series of New Zealand visit to India should be planned in June / July. At that time Newzealand weather would be cold winter and these guys would land in India at 40c. And play the test matches in Nagpur, Kanpur, Delhi and CHennai. May be Hyderabad also. Then, McCullum would have lots of fun.

Any way, old horses Sachin, Dravid and VVS in good form. No problem. One thing - - Dhoni never scores high.. he always gets 50 ~ 60 runs. He does not go towards a century ?! ?

Raghavan:

Buddy, do you "manufacture" weather in India as per your convenience?....

All visitors who have played in Apr-June in India HAVE faced that weather... check your facts...

I'd love to see you dishing out a cold breezy weather to visiting teams in the month of June in India... ;-)

Write something sensible at least..

Well said.. Looks like New Zealand now looks at the Heavens to give a cold weather. Instead of relying on their cricketting skills

Guys, Not to forget that, when india started to follow-on in the second test, many of us also prayed for rain..

Luckily it was not required...kudos to the batsmen

India in New Zealand 2009
by Guest on Apr 01, 2009 10:59 PM

Well after the New Zealand came back in the 2nd Test Match,i would expect a good performance from the New Zealand team, specially from ryder, ross, tim, mccullum.India would defintely play their cards with sehwag, gambhir, tendulkar, the one person who needs to work a lot and catch up on his temper as he showed in the odi's is yuvi. if he plays his natural game like the odi's then he can be the black card and can make all the difference

NZ could not clinch
by Moses Joseph on Apr 01, 2009 09:48 PM

From an imposing position, they were unable to bowl out India. India showed its character in defending and forcing a draw.

Are you trying to show off your vocabulary of hate? Calling someone names doesn't make you better. Or are you from kindergarten ?
