its a pity the icc scumbags took so many years ,evn aftr 'sirship'to honour one of the alltime gr8. just for info being an alrounder his wicket per match is 5
Kapil 434 wickets..bowling in unfriendly Indian conditions 5000 test runs world cup 83 Hadlee: 431 in seam friendly NZ and average batsman. So who's the greater all rounder? BUt then ICC would rather not have subcontinent cricketers on board. zHWEz

I am one of Kapil's biggest fans. But I can emphatically say that Hadlee deserved this honour years ago. As for your point, ask Kapil yourself if you get a chance. Kapil literally worships Hadlee and had no qualms in saying during his playing days that Hadlee was his idol!

exactly. Hadlee was great, and i dont know why they waited so long to honour a white man. Funny people, these British feudal Lords.

u have forgotten a very important stats, kapils 434 wickets in 133 test and hadlee's 431 were in 80 test, so u can decide urself.

Exactly. Compare hadlees records outside NZ to kapils outside India. Hadlee was a GREAT bowler and kapil a good one.

The bowler associated with MRF pace foundation is Dennis Lille and not Richard Hadlee if iam not wrong.
