Dhoni has insulted all Marathas by grabbing the award ahead of Sachin tendulkar,so Raj thackerey has put an ban on all ads Dhoni will be doing in Mumbai. U cant insult us and come to Mumbai warns Raj Thackr. He says how can Dhoni be proud to be Indian to get the award,he has played in Mumbai and in IPL as well and how can forget what Mumbai has given him?

People like you who put their state in front of their country bring shame to India internationally. He is an Indian first. So you should be happy that an Indian got this award rather than some one else. But I guess marathis don’t understand this and this will lead to their downfall and hatred all over India....

If you see the panel that chose the best odi player it is Clive Lloyd, Greg Chappell, Shaun Pollock, Sidath Wettimuny and Athar Ali Khan.
Right out of the bat two of the five will never vote for Sachin - Greg Chappell who lost his India coach job because of him and Shaun Pollock who unfairly lost his Mumbai captaincy when Sachin became fit during the IPL.
