I think sachin is the best for ODI player of the year.The whole world know that East ho ya West Sachin Tendulkar is the best. Sachin,Sachin,Sachin. No Other player only Sachin is the best...
1.Greeme Smith because he got success in both format of game while Jayawardene, Chanderpaul and Steyn not. 2.Dale Steyn took 86 wickets and second one is on 56 wickets. Huge difference. In batsman Kallis, Chanderpaul and Jayawardene all are close. So it should go to Steyn. 3.Sachin has got highest runs between August 9, 2007 and August 12, 2008. 4.No doubt on Mendis because he also got success in both format. 5.No doubt on Yuvraj.

mr guest. as ur name suggest every one is a guest. no one is a god. sachin was good long time ago but now now. Sir Don Bradman was also good but during his time so is sachin. his time is over now. its high time for him to retire with some respectibility or he might lose that also.

DO you remember the odi finals against aus? they've selected sachin because they're not as foolish as you. Go check his record in the last year in odi cricket and comment.
