What is his scores in CB Series finals in Australia and through out the tournament?
One innings of 66 with Tendulkar had made all feel that he is talented and good showing in IPL too.
Did he played Test match? If not, why should he be removed for any other player.
But selection for each and every players should be based on performances in our domestic matches. It must be made compulsory for everyone to play Ranji or other domestic matches, unless there was any international match.
Yuvraj is not a good player if we wants to win next world cup. Yuvraj should drop both format of cricket ODI and test. there is lot of player in india.
Kaifi will make a great comeback and make this idiots and stupids who always critises him will make their mouth shut once for ever. It will happen very soon. Every player had a comeback and kaif deserves after many good performances he has been sidelined by selectors and he will be back with a bang and prove his critics wrong. Come on kaif and cut your critics sayers mouth will a knife.

Ms Blossoms realy u are watching cricket. If u watching cricket than open your eyes that time. u See Yovraj Singh, R. Sharma in srilanka. I think kaif is better choice than Yuvraj or Rohit sharma.

That one innings cannot be played by sachin who just needed 180 odd runs to beat lara records. When i talk about kaif some big crows, raven and hyna start shouting crazy world especially who dont reveal their names on rediff and keep a dummy name useless fellows

Shanawaz dont compare a mosquito with a giant..yeah i am talking abt kaif and sachin...sachin is d greatest batsman india has ever produced...kiaf doesnt know how to bat..only thing he knows is fielding...we cant risk a team for a fielder...kaif was given so many chances and he never banked on them..so i would say it's very fair to keep him out so that a deserved player with good technique gets a chance.

No. nayeem, Sachin was a greatest batsman. but not now, he even can not face new comer Mendi. No doubt was a great great nad great player, but due to age matter, he can't be compared with Raina too.
Kaif deserved to be dropped, but not overlooked for so long when yuvraj (only with some flamboyance in 1 or 2 matches out of 10) gets so many chances. He is a team man and a good fielder who can boost the team through out. Ofcourse he has batting discrepancies, but not all batsmen are technically sound, Smith, KP, Yuvraj, Sehwag, all has defeciences, they are there because they play hard hitting cricket and cricket is not only about hard hitting, you need some dravids and steve waughs in the line up. In this way kaif fits into the scheme.

Mr. Aishrya R and Ananth-i think ur comments based on name only not on player. If Kaif is not good then now day's many players in indian team is worst than the Kaif.

Kaif is a useless player... He should never be given a chance again... There are so many better players... One cannot be included just becase he is a good fielder? how can you justify that? Can you include a player in foot bal team who can hit the ball hard but if he doesn't know foot ball at all?

Whethere it is Kaif, Uthappa or Badrinath, they play well in these matches. But when it comes to international matches like one dayers and tests, they flop. Best thing is to keep rotating the players, so that people failing continuously are kept out atleast temporarily.

Nobody can be in the team just becoz he is a good fielder, and selection policies dont justify that. To remind you, he is proven to be a fighter and proved in the ranji circuit (where else he can prove), top 5 ranji top scorer. He is proved and he has given enough support to the middle order. Because he is not a hard hitter, he is not in the limelight. How many bad patches sehwag & yuvraj had, but still there in the team.
Kaif is a versatile batsman and an outstanding fielder.I will oppose those people who says that he has given many chances and failed miserably one thing to note he was batting most of the time at number 7 where he would get just 5 to 6 overs to bat on there he can just rotate the strike or play some hefty shots which may result in downfall of his wicket.People do often forget his class and his scores he and dravid were the only performers in the carribean series. He is one down player in any form of the game. Surely kaif will return to indian colours and make the people who were critising him will make their mouth shut.

hi.
How many times he played only 6-7 Overs in a match... If you are talking about Australia we can believe bcse their Top Orders plays till 40th Over... But In India Top order collapses in 10 -15 Overs then how can you tell that he is only getting 6 Overs?...If majority of the matches if he played only 5-6 Overs that means a solid run stand by top which would have hepned India to win many matches, but never it had happnd
Kaif has been given lot of chances earlier and he has failed to impress.Statistics don't support him either!! Utterly miserable in T-20 IPL !! Only place he can take is in tests and that too when fab 4 retires!People are just getting carried away by his Natwest trophy innings which is 7 years old!!!So guys lets move on!

Kaif has finished so many matches with Dravid. He is good match finisher and better than R.Sharma at number 7 position. We lost the series against WI with 4-1, Where Kaif was highest run scorer. But after that series he dropped. Why?
It about who is making runs. Kaif is making runs in test cricket and was one of the top run getters in ranji.
He performace against Aus A also shows his worthiness to be selected ahead of anyone else. He would be an ideal replacement for ganguly.
Look at McGain he is 36 and looks a certainty to make the Aus test team. This is because Aus only look at performane. Young legs are performing well in ODI but tests are a different ball game.
