Sehwag's performance
by Raghavan on Nov 02, 2008 12:21 PM

It was really a great bowling performance by Sehwag. The balls to get rid of Ponting and Hussey- clean bowled, were both excellent by any standard.
In addition, he has created a world record being the first player to have scored 2 triple centuries and also 5wicket innings.

Kumble as Bowler
by Crick fan on Nov 01, 2008 03:11 PM

Today Kumble got his first wicket of the match after bowling nearly 30 overs. Infact he has got a wicket after bowling 87 overs in this series, the last wicket he got was in two matches ago. He looks to strive on long spells, bowling 40 plus overs in an innings. He may get 1 , 2, 3 ,4 wickets depending on luck. He has lost the bite in his bowling. He is always targetting tail enders now a days. Man with this form you cannot win matches.

Regarding Gambhir's Ban
by JAYAPRAKASH RAJENDRAN on Nov 01, 2008 09:06 AM  | Hide replies

The Verdict of Chris Broad was really funny. The Man who Provoked (Watson) gets 10 percent fine and the person who reacted (Gambhir)gets a test ban. I really congraluate Chris Broad for giving such a good verdict.May Broad be given another term by ICC and cricket players from sub- continent be prepared to suffer. If gambhir was given a test ban , same should be given to Watson but the verdict was vice-versa.It only affects the indian team in the fourth test.

Gambhir should have given back a mouthful to Watson. Gambhir's mistake is physical contact. That too very obvious movement toward Watson before elbowing him. He would have escaped if he had rammed into Watson head on instead of only elbowing. Cricket is supposed to be a game of no physical contact.

The moment i heard Broad had fined watson 10% only, i saw it coming...it was clear as day light that gambhir wd be given the maximum punishment while the aussie gets away! But u can't really fault him when our own superstars such as ravi shastri supports the ban! The only time our media and our superstars wake up from their slumber is when sachin gets pulled up for some reason or the other. As far as the BCCI is concerned, one can be sure they have done nothing and wd do nothing in future too, with pawar being nominated for the top post of the ICC!

India missing Harbhajan!!!
by nzboy on Nov 01, 2008 08:45 AM

A non regular off spin bowler like Sehwag took three wickets yesterday, Imagine if ace spinner like Harbhajan would have been playing, then Aussies would have been in dire straits.

India still can win this match
by IndianGuy on Nov 01, 2008 08:30 AM

India still can win this match. Wicket is going to detoriate much and its the good batting of Ponting and Hayden made Aus to play well. If we can get the last 6 wickets arround 100 arround lunch or just one hour after lunch, we will get get a lead of arround 150-175 and if we can bat for 1 1/2 hours and get another 200 runs and declare overnight, its not easy for Aus to play 2 spinners along with the 2 seemers with ball swining and reverse swinging and Sehwag and mishra getting a lot of turn on this pitch.
Batting on this pitch is not easy and we will see tail may not be surviving too much time once we get the wickets of watsdon, clarke and Haddin.
Come On India, Go for kill.
Only 2 results are possible now. Either India Win or Aus fights well and draws the match.

the defeat of 2007 world cup against BANGLA DESH has tought Sehwag a lot?
by pravin sarode on Nov 01, 2008 06:09 AM

the defeat of 2007 world cup against BANGLA DESH has tought Sehwag a lot? india got out 176 all & sehwag tried hard to bowl his best ever figures & took some wickets so hats off Sehwag like this learn how to bat also from Gautam Gambhir & VVS Laxman. There will be tremendous responsibility on Sehwag in Nagpur so also Dravid. I think dravid has got his sasural in Nagpur so he will play better game!
2 days left now in this third WWF tussle
2 x 90 = 180 plus 20 that makes 200 over
game maximum if SUN & RAIN cooperate
Australian will Bat 80 more overs to
score 300 runs so tight fielding indians
120 overs left to indian as challenge
so it is one day match on sunday be sure
110 overs maximum if both captains want results
I think Steave Waugh is poineer of declaring
innings at risk of test for results not Draw
so again indians have their traditional rival
australia who is hat trick world champion
WORLD CUP 1999 beat Pak
World cup 2003 beat India (Dada won toss but see spirit of sacrifice of Dada to offer Ricky bat)
World cup 2007 beat Lanka
but there is always room at top to get through hard work & luck like Dhoni won T20 in Sept07
luck favours the brave it is proved in the history also ->SHIVAJI WON BATTLE against Afjalkhan
only devoted people like JIVA MAHALA r required I can compare Gautam Gambhir with JIVA MAHALA
can i pawar saab, sunil, ravi, dilip. may Lord Ganesha bless Anil&14. OM GAN GANPATAYE NAMAH!
experience is a strange teacher conducts test 1st

Greg Chappell back in Australia, and they are now playing better. This is a disturbing element even for his own countrymen.
