symonds is NOT required

first, symonds is out of form.

next, he's a rabble rouser, much worse than bhajjie, and his exclusion is always good for cricket to remain sane.

third, his spin would work only with some verbal venom from his forked tongue.

good riddance symonds, the aussie blokes are already spitting verbal fire instead of with bat and ball.

symonds exclusion helps cricket
by Sanjay Kar on Oct 29, 2008 05:51 PM  | Hide replies

No body in the world wishes to spoil cricket by inviting symonds over india. Be it on the ground of disciplinary action, or against precaution to let the series go without disturbance, we welcome the move. But on the otherhand we boast of quality bowlers in our side to dislodge the "He-Man"'s wicket for sure.

much of oz saber rattling is in the form of aggressive body language, aggressive but cunning, well timed, hidden verbal outbursts and pre-match preparation by the entire oz nation - media, ex-crickters et al.
