This shows that some selector had a vague idea of Jadeja while some didn't even know who he was.Ravindra Jadeja is a special case because he could be the spin bowling allrounder Indian cricket is looking for. I dont feel sad but angry that the 'bunch of joker's are paid Rs25 lakh to do this botch up.They should have consulted Shane Warne (being shameless any way), who had called Ravindra Jadeja a 'rockstar' during the IPL. how can they do it with a promising youngster like ravi jadeja. earlier also, there were instances of mistaken identity in case of jyoti yadav n jay prakash yadav both being called jp yadav. bcci selectors dont deserve the fees they hv started getting for doing selection job.
Sudeep Tyagi, the Bengali paceman, was among the top wicket takers in the last domestic season. Yet, he is not there even in the top 33 in the country! This is definitely a grave omission by the selectors. This is our problem. We should take the current form and performance as the criteria for selection. Badrinath was in much better form last year, than Rohit Sharma. Yet he was ignored repeatedly. Similarly, Ashok Dinda is performing very well now. He should be in the immediate reckoning for selection now. Do not always talk about team for the future, the next world cup, etc. Look for the best team for the current season. That is the way it should go. This will surely bring in a lot more healthy competition.
hahahaha.....what a circus this cricket is in india....thought these cricket org might be a touch better administered than other sports but it seems the same jokers run all the sports in india....It proves once the biggies from this indian team is gone it will be a game and honeymoon over for bcci...we will be back to the old days of being tourists abroad....

ravi jadeja was the member of u-19 wc winning team. n also a crucial member of rajasthan royals who beat mumbai in a nail biting finish on the last ball.
