Our contry is considered Farmers based country becos 80% of its population lived in vilages. 20% are urban population who even do not have time to watch TV having busy schedule. Why 80% of people are being ignored to see matches du lack of telcast on National Channel. Is money is everything or the Nation Interest.
One one hand there is this English Premier League FOOTBALL which has most of the world players in action & no one cares about the money that they make thro club careers, on the other hand is this English CRICKET board which is not able to digest the fact that similar thing is happening but in INDIA not in ENGLAND. As always- they prescribe different medicine for different countries for the same illness...shame on you.
its all about money. Whether its Modi and ipl, bcci, ecb or this sh**hol* mouthing this words. All of them are trying for a bigger slice of the same pie.
THIS THE THE BEGINNING OF THE END OF TEST CRICKET SURELY .THE LURE OF MONEY IS TOO MUCH FOR THE PLAYERS AND THE ICC OR THE FORMER GREATS OF THE GAME ARE JUST WATCHING THE WHOLE DRAMA WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING TO SAVE THE GAME.

NOPES !!!!
Test match was there, is there and will always stay. Its probably 50-over ODIs to shut shop and make way for T20. Test matches will always be the place where one grooms their skills and this is the most original and most purest form of cricket. One-dayers in early 70s have led to better and result-oriented Test matches, so I guess T20 will also do test matches a world of good :)

In this particular case coincidence of IPL & Eng_Sl test series is leading to cancelletion of Eng-SL series. But overall its 50 over game that would be more effected than test-cricket by the invasion of 20-20. I dont think anybody would complain about that.

Its the coincidence of schedule of IPL & Eng-SL test series that would probably lead to cancelletion of ENg-SL test series but not the test cricket as a whole.
