Mr. Modi, mind your own business
by Pratap Bhanja on Oct 26, 2008 10:06 PM  | Hide replies

It's understood that, BCCI can't treat ICL and IPL equally. But you (BCCI) can't arm-twist other countries. Your anger on ICL, has nothing to do with functioning of other country's cricket boards. Mind your own business. Do not poke your nose to thers' affairs. This is all B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T, Mr. Lalit Modi.

this board has done a blunder with a proming n talented young player.
in a case of mistaken identity, instead of selecting ravindersingh jadeja, the member of the jr wc winning team, n the player of rajasthan royals team in ipl, in challenger trophy, an unknown player ravi inder singh was selected.
what a blunder. earlier also, bcci used to mk such blunders during jp yadav (jyoti and jay prakash).

thats y the selecters hv started getting their fees for selection job?

BCCI has to treat ICL and IPL equally.Players who don't get in here play there and vice versa. This Year ICL is getting better coverage.Players like raydu are not to be punished because of BCCI's wrath on ICL.

BCCIs Fault - My Foot !!!!!
by Krishna on Oct 26, 2008 09:43 PM  | Hide replies

All of you idiots are going on targeting BCCI ... just think twice mates. What did England and Australia do to us and all other cricketing nations when they had this super-power status???
They're obviously not happy getting a dose of their own medicine, are they? and you people blame only the BCCI in this political game that has much deeper roots?

when kumbale is captain dhoni keeps his performance reserved?
by pravin sarode on Oct 26, 2008 09:36 PM  | Hide replies

when kumbale is captain dhoni keeps his performance reserved? it seems so because of ambition of new generation & dropped catches in lanka tour. so it is anil to take all his ten men in confidence including dhoni. one such example is anil appeal turned down for LBW against ricky pointing only anil shouted but all his 10 colleges kept mum like dhritshtra actually pointing was LBW in replay thanks to biased umpiring & lack of team spirit

Ponting, not pointing. Kumble, not Kumbale. Dhritarashtra not Dhritshtra, why don't you copy and paste the names?

this is true in indian sub-continent ... but outside, dhoni is not up to the mark and whoever is the captain, his contribution will be 0, 29,0 (against feared teams like BD, Bermuda, SL as in 2007 WI Worldcup)

wow....wonderful news!!! Now MSD will be fit for all the series. Kumble can continue as caption for a few more years now. BCCI are such loosers....do they want to kill the international serieses by bullying other nations? this is the beginning of the end of Cricket...BCCI is probably the worst thing that could have happened to the world cricket.

its nothing but the icl story. slc allowed icl players to play domestic tourneys. so bcci is angry with rantunga. nothing else is the reason.

BCCI is behaving like dictators
by R.C. on Oct 26, 2008 09:02 PM  | Hide replies

The BCCI, because it has much much more money than is healthy for them, have lost their mind. Firstly, they did not want anyone else to have a share of the cricketing cake (take the case of ICL), then now this Shri Lanka episode. These megalomaniacs feel that everyone should only praise them. They cannot take any criticism. That shows their insincerity.
There must be a lot of money (obviously black) in controlling BCCI. Otherwise why politicians and businessmen are so much interested in having control over it? Can you imagine Sharad Pawar or Dalmiya fighting so much for the control of Hockey federation?

Yes, BCCI believes no one has a right to criticise them. Someone needs to bring them down a peg or two. Once they have made ever other board angry, they will surely get their comeuppance. But there is also the adage of "you don't spit on the plate you eat from". Where do Sri Lankan get off criticising BCCI, when with one hand they re collecting several million dollars from BCCI? I think they are - like every other subcontinental neighbour - basically happy to get whatever they can from India, but give nothing but criticism back in return.

Sorry to break your revere but there is one batsman who has broken the code of Ajantha Mendis. He was the best batsman of the ODI series which was won by India - against Mendis and Murali. Guess who? Beat the rush and start adoring him now!

Sorry to break your ignorance ... but Sachin was not at all troubled by the so-called Mendis Code...! Out of 6 times, if he was out once to Mendis (and that too padding - not because of the so-called 'code') ... you don't call that being baffled by the magic of 'Mendis'..! Don't make some ignorant assumptions to suit your own idiosynchracies and start seeing things ... and make sweeping but highly idiotic statements about people of as high integrity as Sachin ...!! Grow Up mate..!!
