Error in the above report.....by born cheats
by Sunil Dharam on Oct 26, 2008 04:10 PM

There is an unintentional (or intentional ??) error in the above report, Harbhajan Singh did not racially abuse Symmonds infact he was wrongly accused by Aussies of racially abusing Symmonds, will not be surprised if this report is quoted from aussie media after all Aussies are born cheats.

Aussies & Pakis are cheaters in cricket.
by Himalay on Oct 26, 2008 03:50 PM

In International cricket, Pakistanis & Aussies are the biggest cheaters hence there is always friction when either of these teams are playing against any team.

Strong Cricket?
by Ian Chappel on Oct 25, 2008 09:36 AM  | Hide replies

Did he said 'strong cricket'....come on! mate you are not shameless. You guys are outplayed by Indians damn it! Accept that. Strong CRICKET! my foot!
But ya all isn't lost yet mate! Loss is a part of game but loosing this bad hurts obviously.
But you can moan right now..this is still lot of things still at stake. Still 2 test to go and I think its the right time when the Aussies team came under real pressure and their are not so many occasions when the aussies player are under real pressure and i think its the right time they should enjoy the game, play real tough cricket and show the Indians that we are Different breed of DOGS that can still have the guts to rip apart the body of MONGREL DOGS!

Aussies are the Grey hounds while Indians (I mean cricketers are cross between poms(pomerenian) and dashund
(Harbhajan is an unknown hybrid variety).....the Aussies are not bothered about the past...thay continue to play good cricket whether they win or lose

who has not lost badly...oh my God!,..Indians have never been embarrassed in cricket according to you... don't start to compare then I will quote many instances because Indians have had unlimited episodes..whereas Aussies have few.....by the way I never expected anybody to laugh when I said that.. so if you think I attempted a joke then you must be joking!

You rightly recognized Australian as dogs.

No need to say anything about Indians.

Even if one chooses to discount his fielding skills, captaincy skills and the fact that he has won two world cups for his country, Ponting would be in the playing 11 of any team in the world for his batting skills alone.

He is a match-saver, a match-winner, he HIMSELF has rarely been involved with spats and dirty sledging (a little heat is always welcome).

Just cuz the Australians are generally regarded as dirty players, sledgers and whatnot, people are accusing Ponting of things he doesn't deserve.

A little respect, folks. Ponting is an asset to Australia. So much so, the moment India gets Ponting, aussies are on the backfoot instantaneously.

He is their dravid, mr. consistent, their sachin, the record breaker, their ganguly, captain material, their laxman, the stylist.

he is Australiaz Fab four. Some respect, guys.

yes he can, but he is far too consistent to bowl than an inconsistent sachin who is only lucky always to get wickets... an inconsistent bowler like dochin dondakar manages to get wickets....

So Ponting is a mixure four... Interesting character he is. As far as I know his batting skill is no better than Bhajji.

Don't say "sides". The side that is embittered is Australia. The reign is over. There is no harm in mulling over what went wrong and be number 4th for a while.

Draw a line
by ravi shankar singh on Oct 24, 2008 11:48 PM

Competition takes out the best in the Aussies and lately this trend has become evident in Indian players as well. It's good to see such high voltage drama unfurl.haydos slams Zaheer for consecutive boundaries in one over and in the very next Bhajji goin for wild celebrations over his dismissal.this is what cricket should be played like and yes India/Australia are the arch rivals,no doubt about that. There is something in this contest that is missing in others. However a line should be drawn and it should be respected.Come on guys you can't stare and abuse players of the calibre of Sachin or Ponting. They are maestros.Respect them.

Indo-Oz tension
by yogesh Shah on Oct 24, 2008 10:30 PM  | Hide replies

The writer of the article is not correctly reporting past events- "Harbhajan was initially banned for racially abusing Symonds....."-the word 'allegedly' shd've been used before 'racially abusing'. Bhajji never racially abused, he simply abused. By saying otherwise it shows that Rediff editor & the author are sleeping on the job & shd apologise for this gaff.

True. By not using word 'allegedly' they are in a way confirming that bhajji actually racially abused Symonds. Good observation, Yogesh.
