Some of the forum user's comments, who r after kumble for mysteryyyyyyyyyyyy reasons r really hard to digest. If there is spinning track in delhi which suits to kumble then wats the issue all abt?Even Cameroon White can exploit,so is mishra, bhajji.
I m quite sure if kumble bowls magnificently then these bloggers would say"Kumble bowled well just becoz it was his type of wicket" If Kuble bowls badly, then these bloggers will say this also"Despite conditions favourable to him,Kumble bowled horribly".

Let the curator do his job. What does it really matter what the pitch really is like? Most players can tell after looking at it how will it will play for the most part.
don't know why do ppl questions kumble's ability...every bowler goes thru this phase...even greats like Warne, murali, kapil dev have gone thru this phase...Kumble is the highest test wicket taker for India...He does not have to compete with anyone...this Mishra or chawla or anybody else cannot be compared to Kumble.. Mishra has played only one test match...he has lot to prove...We Indians take cricketers to top in just one match...

Kumble's greatness is not being questioned, but his ability to continue taking wickets is. Amit Mishra played very well for a guy making his debut and that means Kumble is under pressure to prove himself.

kumble will be back with a bang. He has done so many times before. Problem is with us that we do not respect our heroes. Be it Sachin/Kumble or Ganguly, they all have to prove idiotic critics wrong time and again. I bet Mishra will not take any wicket further in the series even if he is played. Aussies were not prepared for him and he was able to surprise them. This will not happen again as Aussies will study his bowling and find a way to nutralize him. Mishra is not seasoned enough to innovate something on field to counter this. Those kind of ability comes to a spinner only through experience. Bhajji and Kumble are masters on this.
Such a big baby Kumble has become. He needs a track specially suited to him to take wickets. Just see what Mishra did. Mishra took 7 wickets on a track that did not help the spinners. Kumble should learn from Ajantha Mendis how to take wickets on any kind of pitch. Kumble and Dravid have suddenly become a liability to the team. If the don't quit then selectors should help them quit. It may be true they were once indespensable but that is no longer the case. In countries like England and New Zealand such players however famous voluntarily retire on their own.

Once again, I don't think Kumble has asked for it. If you prepare for five questions in an exam and the same five get asked, are you going to turn your paper over and fail the exam, come on dude, be realistic, most Indian pitches are not for pace bowlers.
KUMBLE IS PANICKING - NOT AT PROSPECT OF FACING THE AUSTRALIAN SIDE BUT TO MATCH THE PERFORMANCE OF (1) AMIT MISHRA IN HIS BOWLING AND (2) DHONI IN CAPTAINCY.
SO HE WANTS A SPINNING TRACT TO HELP HIM GET SOME WICKETS AND ALSO TO WIN TO OVERCOME DHONI'S REPUTATION
KUMBLE IS NOT COMPETING WITH AUSTRALIANS. HE IS COMPETING WITH DHONI AND AMIT MISHRA

I don't think he's afraid, but just wants to get his form back. It happens to all bowlers and all batsmen, it's harder on the bowlers because they have to bowl for long stretches in test matches and if not in form, it's just plain painful. Almost like being asked to work 16 hours on a project that you cannot bill your client for.

Comming from a dimwit who can't even get into the local team , hah We indians are the biggest RETARDS ever. We do not deserve people like KUMBLE / tendy /ganguly/ dravid etc

Since times immemorial, there have been two types of cricket pitches, one that favors the batsman, and one that favors the bowler. And it's not that other bowlers are not going to bowl on the same wicket, it just happens to suit his bowling style. I don't think he paid the curator for getting a wicket - that would be illegal.
I think India will go with three spinners and two seamers.Considering Radhey Shyam Sharma's comments on the preparation of pitch Amit Mishra may play in place of Laxman or Dravid.Three pronged spin attack will definitely mat the Aussies to make India 2-0 and wrap up the series here.

I heard some rumors that Shane Warne has come out of retirement after hearing the news, just kidding.
