rajiv shukla ji i will have to make a statement that this is all bunch of jockers sitting at the helm of bcci and some media jockers who has created a thought of retirement in the minds of others who are performing well both in india and abroad,as the there is retirement age for cricketers these buch of jockers who is at the helm of the board should retire. When team performs better then these jockers take the center stage and no one can forget when the team came back after winning twenty 20 dhoni and team was asked to sit behind and n no of jockers took the center stage.when team performs bad its bcos of seniors and captain what is this bcci?if you take credit for victory then you should have the gut to take responsibility of defaet. I am happy for ganguly who proved the sr jocker Vengsalkar that he has a lot to offer in terms of cricket but quitting cos of humiliation given to him"Dada u Rock"
Ganguly is blessed that he will be remembered for his stellar performance against Aussies in his retirement series. Hope he carries his good form throughout. Ganguly's swan song series will be the folklore. Dont change your mind about the retirement though.

i doubt that, he's confirmed that this will be his last series. he's already contributed in this series, i hope its a happy one for him. i hope the seniors will all decide sooner than later on thier own terms.

No I dont think it as a great time for him to quite bcz he is the potential player to creat beanch marking records in cricket world
The bowlers performed very good all the time. For last two years those same seniors performed bad. The tail enders had to come to rescue to show a respectable score. India lost early in the world cup due to same seniors. One match is not enough. The way the seniors get heavily rewarded for endorsement for being continuously in the team, they should perform better.

Is one series not enough to gauge some ones current performance? Can you please compile Kumble's Bowling figures for last 5 matches he has played?

I fully agree with you. Seniors have let the team down in so many occassions and they click in one game and politicians start going gung-ho.
We dont have objection to seniors playing in the team. We have STRONG objection to them taking their seat for granted in the team. Anyone who scores one fifty in fifteen innings and thinks he has a birthright in indian squad need to be shown the door. Seniors or youngsters, they need to earn their place in the team.

Shukla is right. Ganguly-Sachin's partnership of 130 odd in 1st innings was crucial, especially after India were 158/4 at one stage.

Correction: India were 168/4. Also the team should have a blend of youth and experience not just youngsters.

Very soon the same people who are lavishing such praises on Dhoni's captaincy and batting will ask for his removal the moment India does badly in 1 series, rather than look at the long term.
