Nice confusion...
by hiral joshi on Oct 21, 2008 12:18 PM

When we have confusion in choosing MoM, its a great sight because that means your team has performed as a whole unit and everybody contributed to the victory. I wud love to see such happenings more and more.

Everybody proved point
by hiral joshi on Oct 21, 2008 12:02 PM

Newcomers and youngsters proved the point while seniors like Ganguly, Tendy and Sehwag too proved what they are worth of. In bowling dept, Mishra proved his selection was right one while Bhajji showed why he is so dangerous for aussies and Zaheer seems in the peak of his career while Ishant is becoming more and more lethal. Dhoni did smart captaincy with useful contribution from self while openers gave thunderous starts. If this continues we can achieve what australia did in past few years. Believeing in ourselves is a key.

by mohammed basituddin on Oct 21, 2008 11:52 AM  | Hide replies

Hi Gangauly played well in his last series we remember forever who given chances to player like dhoni, bhajji, gambhir, sehwag, yuvraj, during his captancy we need to give him a good send off for a ex captain who reched india in world cup final in 2003 & won series in england, pakistan,& sri lanka

Mishra gets MoM. Just because Ganguly is retiring no point of awarding him MoM. Because Gambhir scored 104 and 69 runs in two innings, while Dhoni scored 92 and 68 in 2 innings.

No its not an inning defeat. In an inning defeat, the winning team only bats once while loosers bat in both the innings and loose all their 20 wickets. Had india enforced follow on and Aussies got out at the score at what they got out today, we could have inning victory.

rift
by Finix on Oct 21, 2008 11:46 AM  | Hide replies

there is a rift in aussie side between lee and ponting since ponting didn't gave lee to bowl in yesterday morning.lee defending in media saying it was delibrate ploy to increase the slow over rate which was hanging with aussies in the match.on the other side tim neilsen says something else."It was a plan by aussie's to not bowl lee as it could provide quick runs to openers since ball comes on to bat easily. We were thinking of taking the pace of the ball so white was the option".
I wonder if siddle's pace is anything different to that of lee.

This suggests something is cooking in aussie team.

Not so important. Loosing teams normally go to such phases. We need lot of focus on our side. Rewarding and honoring the seniors while nurturing the juniors is a big task and should be done.

Dhoni Dhamaka
by Kumar Chakraborthy on Oct 21, 2008 11:46 AM

Its Dhoni Dhamaka. Though Diwali is a few days away, but today is the actual Diwali 4 we all Indians. Thanks to Dhoni Dhamaka. What a player. What a Cricketer India has got? All praises to him. All big awards to him.His captaincy, his positive approach, juggling of bowlers, leading fr. the front all make him the best captain India has ever produced till to-day. Nobody can debate on that. 1st world cup, then Australia wins in Australia, Sri lanka win in one dayers after being thrashed in Test series and now again win agt. the mighty Aussies are track records of Dhoni to prove his calibre. Inbetween IPL shodown and a few one day tournements being runners up. What an achievement in such a short span of time.Dhoni the best.Doni the living legend.
