Sehwag is not junior now, he should understand his responsibility. If he will stay 30 overs at the crease he will easily get his 100 and it will help India more than his quick 30-40.

You must consider Sehwag as an attacking player whatever the situation demand. Must try to capitulate on the quick onslaught on to the bowlers which will make them loose their rythm.
That is a different style of opening similar to Jayasuriya of Srilanka.

And enough is said about Sehwag and he is not the only batsmen who will shoulder our team to greatness.
Indian Cricket doesnt revolve around a single player and recent wins we had good team work.

In 20 overs if team score will 90/0 or 90/1 then 90% they will score around 300. In 20 overs if team score will 120/3 or 130/4 then 90% they will score around 270.
You give the record while chasing. But We lost the asia cup final where he scored 60 and fully set on the crease but throw his wicket to Mendis. Otherwise we can win that final. Target was not too big. Dhoni didn't get support from other side.

His quick 60 became useless because we lost Gambhir, Raina & Yuvaraj were too failed to provide little support.
By chasing a target of 274 he scored 60 from just 36 balls. Or 60 runs from 6 overs.
You say that we lost the match because he thrown his wicket to Mendis. Mendis already had Raina & Yuvaraj to his tally. But still you say we lost the match just because of Sehwag.
He is gone today. Not surprized ... once he crosses 60 then only, he will convert in 100... may be two.
But what is needed is to get to 60 ...70 everytime & build partnership.
He seems to wanting his way everytime...was lucky to be picked ahead of in-form openers ( What else openers of this country do to be picked.....it is best to retire...)against australia visit due to selector's nevervousness.
Now having cemented his place , he just doesn't play with head down.
"Sehwag fans always shows his test record when he plays in ODI. It's not good. He is so inconsistent in ODI. Accept the truth"
For the year 2008 (from Jan 08) he played only 8 ODIs and scored 498 runs at an average of 62 with strike rate of 139 1 century and 4 Fifty.
His overall career average is 32 with 9 centuries and 29 50 at a strike rate with 11 ducks. Considering his attacking style he definitely throws his wicket.
But if he give a score of even 30 in opening burst, that always put pressure on the opening bowlers and will give advantage over bowlers.

He is in good form this year. But I want to see how long he can play with this form. His record shows how many times he has been dropped from the side. We won 1 match but lost 4 by that kind of players. He was good in ODI in intial 3-4 years of his career. Just see his last 4 years in ODI. Why he is not regular player of the ODI side? Even he was dropped this year in CB series and Kitply cup for some matches because of inconsistency.

He played for 186 matches in ODI. Players are selected and dropped not by me or by you or by other true cricet lovers.
Its by Zonal Selectors and Chief selectors selected by BCCI. And they are not computers, machines or robots, only humans. They do have their own favourites, views and powers to sack or appoint.
But being a good cricket lover I am satisfied with any team given by them. But never I beleive everything (Selection/removal) done by these selectors are correct and good.
15.1 Lee to Gambhir, no run, appeals straightaway for a leg before but Asad rauf is unmoved, it was pretty obvious it was missing leg, for starters it pitched outside leg and angled down the leg side, Lee started celebrating immediately.

If you are following his all knocks closely, you will find he gets 2-3 lifes in his all big knocks. 2nd he always fail on difficult pitch to bat(4th day or 5th day) and swinging condition like in England.

Good for him... He will have to bowl in fourth inning...defending total of 300 /320( Not having played third seamer, our best hope of first innign lead in 50 runs & out line up cannot score more than 270 run in second inndingh) ... Hopefully he can deliver

Anurag you give much credit to everything to one player and trying to glorify whatever he does. At the same time you forget Sehwags service to our test team. He Scored 15 tons in 104 innings and you say we won only 2. You are trying to prove the point that Dhoni is the better choice to lead. In Todays test there is no other option for he is appointed the vice captain of the team. That doesnt mean he will be vice captain for all the series. He definitely should have to perform in front and back of the wicket.

But on the way to prove that dont try to nullify some great efforts of other great players too.

What Sehwag fans tell. He has 2 triple century so he should be captain of test side. What a logic! My comment on Sehwag were these kind of people.

My comment(specially on Dhoni) are for those people who talk in this forum 'Who is Dhoni to lead Sehwag, Sachin, Dravid, Kumble and Laxman'. This is a slap on those people. Did G.Smith not lead SA's senior players?

Dhoni has to prove himself in test yet. He will do. I faith him. But I only say there is no other better option in India recently. His record is good in test comparison to other WKs(present/past) in india. But we expect him too much(this level is set by himself). Give some more time to him.

I am asking you that "Why you tried to prove that Sehwags centuries are of no use for India and that he score all these in flat pitches only?"
Of the 15 scored we won 3, lost 3 and importantly Drawn 9 tests. Was it not great to have 15 tons in just 104 innings?
You should accept the fact that he should also to be considered the great batsman India had.

He is good in test, I accept. But he is useless in ODI. Sehwag fans always shows his test record when he plays in ODI. It's not good. He is so inconsistent in ODI. Accept the truth. He is playing from 8-9 years. He can't prove himself in ODI now.
