Should Kumble be played instead of Mishra?
by S N Mhetre on Oct 25, 2008 04:30 PM

There is a talk that Kumble, if declares himself fit to play, he may replace Laxman for the Third Test. Possibly the only player from Famous Fabulous four, who has not clicked in last two games, still would it be fare to ignore Laxman. Why not recall his performance of 2001 in India (281) / 2000 in Australia (167) & also two hundreds in 2004.

Where are those Palmists/Jyotishi's who can predict the Share Markets Travel
by S N Mhetre on Oct 25, 2008 04:26 PM

Many times we get to see, people projecting themselves on various TV Channels, as if they can see future.

I have not seen any Jyotishi, saying with any degree of Confidence when the Tide would turn & share market revival would begin?

With the Crashing Share Market, will this festival worth celebrating or would we be seeing more suicidal deaths of Day Traders/Investors or even Brokers?

Sachin will keep the record for ever
by Guest on Oct 23, 2008 04:57 PM

Both Sachin and Ponting are going to play till equal ages; lets say 37/38. ponting is 1.5 years younger than sachin. on an average 10 tests are played by an international cricketer. so that means he will play 15 tests after sachin retires.
as of now the gap between both is 1800 runs. ponting will have to score these runs in 15 test, or maximum 30 innings --> at an avg of 60, which with his current down the hill form, is not gonna happen. And if sachin widens the gap of 1800 runs before he retires, ponting cannot even dream about the record.

No point in talking such non-sense.Till retirement sachin will reach around 15-16 thousand runs.Which is way beyond ricky's reach. So ricky has best option to retir b4 the batting mestro Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar.

Is it not surprising to note that SRT has scored 6000 in 76 tests two times!
