India is a spinner fiendly country and Aussies don't play too well. But just wait till Aussies face Zaheer again and they will whoop his behind.

aussies play spin and pace alright but they prefer pace

all their cricketers are good but they should have won the first test although rain did not help them

yeah right! Santhosh .. please quit writing these comments gracefully... you were never a great in anything.... stop writing to be somebody

Just in this last test, you saw Sachin Tendulkar play a decent knock that helped India. I am not saying he saved anything... simply that he did his bit for his country. What did you do?

Ok santhosh, lets wish sachin plays until he is 70. People will still say he is great. he is great, I understand, but there is an end to everything that is great, only then they will be remembered as great....if you keep playing based on your past record, does that mean you got a ticket to play all the time? Win matches and be eligibel and more importantly retire at the right time, else no one will care.....bow out in grace not when people want you to reitre....how many mroe records does he want to break...go home enjoy, let otheerrs win matches for India...and Santosh, I am compeltely on your side...

Oh we forgot Sachin is 40 plus, isn't he? Did he score nearly 500 runs last time when he toured Australia? Damn, thats been so old now.

"MATCH WINNING" performance in CB series finals...good show in last test match..
career average of 44 ..thats constant for 2 decades
what else you want..why you are keep urging him to retire
even if he is playin for records...i'll love to watch him doing so

dude why shud he quit?? he was one of the top scorers in the b'lore match when ur so called youth - dhoni failed too!!! if its age ur against then y dont i c anyone asking kumble or hayden or hussey to retire they r all in the same age group!!!! its the performance that matters and sachin's been delivering the goods though not in the manner he used to but he still has it in him!!!

We should Respect our Cricketers...
by Javeed Bader on Oct 17, 2008 02:46 AM

We should respect our Cricketers... some Australian like Ricky Ponting try to humilates us by pointing fingers on Kumble & Bhajji etc. They think they are the great cricketers ... look India also have Greatest Cricketers to nae a few Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar,Gawaskar,Mohinder Amarnath etc.. list is endless.. We readers shouldnt criticize our cricketers... we should applaud & appreicate.

Let Indian media learn to be unbiased like this.
by ignes varghese on Oct 17, 2008 02:14 AM

Let Indian media read this and learn the lesions from this. I was sad to see the media reports stating Sachin saved the match for India.
