Idiot's Words
by Ritwik Bhuyan on Oct 15, 2008 11:49 AM

An idiot named Kumble has uttered the following words. Anyone is at their disposal to LAUGH their A.. OFF.

"Actually, I'm pretty happy with the way things panned out after we lost the toss. From the look of the pitch, this was a track on which 600 could have been made batting first. That the Australians took five sessions and more to make about 400 is a reflection on how wonderfully well our bowling unit performed".

magnificent score of nearly quadruple century.
by vinay on Oct 14, 2008 11:09 PM  | Hide replies

a magnificent 386 runs, nearly quadruple century by cheteshwar pujara, very rare achievement that can b seen on ckt field.

its a mammoth inning in whatever form of the game. its an inning by a player adjudged man of the series in jr wc.

but it seems nobody is interested abt this news. y so much of biasedness abt other cricketers.

even selectors r not interested in allowing such talented cricketers a fair chance. was vengsarkar instrumental in not allowing this player to b selected at the higher levels of ckt...

It is very clear that you are either a friend of Cheteshwar Pujara or you are his cousin or something....and this is a deliberate attempt to promote him......all i can say is that he is a load of bull.........what is the bowling attack??

Such runs have been scored by ordinary players aginst attacks of Himachal, Orrisa etc.....

I have seen Pujara and he will not last even a couple of overs against a high quality pace attack.....so stop your cheap propaganda and get lost, you load of cr^ap!!!!

Dhoni led Indian test team against SA last year in third and final test match. India won the match and series was leveled 1-1. The match was at Kanpur or Nagpur, I am not sure.

anant, I remember that innings very well :)

I just wanted to ask the Ganguly-bashers :)

Srikkanth : What about Badrinath & Misra?
by J Jena on Oct 14, 2008 02:57 PM  | Hide replies

1. will they play in Mohali? Badri in place of Laxman , Misra in place of unfit Kumble?

2. After 2nd test will they retain there position in the team for balance 2 tests?

3. Are they just - show case talents, not fit for onfield action?

4. They are just part of the game which is being played selectors after selectors to protect favourites?

Y yaar Badri in place of Lakshman? He is the only one in fab four who cud score some runs in the last few innings. Also when Badri was given an opportunity both in Irani trophy and also in practice match he cudn't use it. He may have talent. So wat. If at all any of the fab four retires before the end of this series Rohit shud be given the chance. Bcoz in the practice match against Aussies he scored a fluent century against this same bowling attack. Also he have a gud record against Aussies. And he is a litl more aggressive compared to Badri. But wat I said is my view only. I know being Srikanth the Selection committee boss Badri will be given a chance if not in next test match.Thats for sure.
