Here's my prediction: Aussies give India a target of 350 after batting out first hour. Then on, it'll be a torture for Indian fans as India struggle to survive. They'll survive upto tea with 5 wickets down and a total of a 100 odd thereby eliminating the chances of an Indian win. After tea, they'll suddenly manage to lose 5 wickets and give victory to the Aussies who'll celebrate it like big deal after having delibrately given themselves the underdog tag. Early dismissals for most of the top order and very hard fought 50s for Ganguly and Laxman - and no resistence from the tail. This is what the fab 4 have given us loyal Indian cricket fans over the years and the same story will repeat again.
I simply hope though that my prediction does not come true and Indians show some spine like that wonderful day in Calcutta a few years ago.
But I'm still a die hard Indian fan so I say - You Go India - teach those self obsessed Aussies a lesson in humility but not before humbling them first by defeating them - fair and square!

i feel the same as you. Infact what you said, we have experience so many times. I have wasted my life on cricket. Even after so many defeats, we win one & our interest becomes same as before.
All Indian navy people who love indian pray Varun to bless Bangalore Bangalore is US outsourcing software hub & land of opportunuity next to San Fransisco. Grorge W. Bush will be the most happy man to see his strongest supporter of IRAQ war Ricky Pointing has advantage a lead of 263 with 5 wickets in hand & 660 balls to go so it is white coloured aussies have support all over the world & inside india also viru need to put one complete anchorage like he anchored at Gale in Lanka for 201 knock think psitive & be positive movie KRISH. Viru use Navratna oil to keep it cool please do not chase the ball out side off stump. o remember sunil manohar gawasksar cricketing father of sachin tendulkar score maximum runs against aussi seamers by playing square cuts glnce only so SUNIL MANOHAR GAWASKAR we want u sir to be present at Indian dressing room early in the morning to some mantra to ur cricketing son sachin to navigate the rouring 40 & angree 50 of brett lee, michel johnson. SM Gawaskar adviced Lt. Col. Kapil to give ball to Mohinder Amarnath turned the world cup final in 1983 viv richards gave a tough catch & Kapil ran 40 meters to catch it ALL WHO PLAY WITH SACHIN TAKE SINGLE & AVOID SACHIN TO FACE ASSU ATTACK FOR FISRT 30 BALL HE FACE LET SACHIN SET IS KEY FUNDA OF TODAY wwf CONTEST. ALL WHO PLAY WITH SACHIN TAKE SINGLE & AVOID SACHIN TO FACE ASSU ATTACK FOR FISRT 30 BALL HE FACE LET SACHIN SET IS KEY FUNDA OF TODAY wwf CONTEST. GAUTI to play very cautious innings like he played against kumbale for delhi 91 runs superb hat off repeat ur positive characters if any player sledges u from aussi side then give him reply through ur bat like khan sir did in england cricket was gentleman game in 1983 when Lt. Col. Kapil saved india 5-17 to 8-268. batting skills of ishant & anil is not improved becasue they did not do maximum when khan sir was anchoring one side 57 knock. so it is every player to take lesson from SM Gavskar how to face aussies. Sunny did minimum efforts to get maximum runs use speed of brett lee drive squre cut find gap. but before that we have to all out aussies
Watson is right in his statemenets. And Aussies will win bcoz India does not have the ability to win when chasing in second innings because all are suceptible to get out to any bowler. Especially Tendya. I have been writing in all discuission boards that getting Tendya wicket is easy bcoz he is more susceptible to get out to any bowler in the world for example michael clarke/White can get him out. There are many ways to get him out.

Surely a better opening bat!! But with Hayden, katich and Jacques waiting in the wings, it would be difficult for him!! more over Watson is an impressive all-rounder, more suited for the available job in the Australian team!!!
