He was a excellent spinner Aussie have ever produced.the ways he bowls and reads the batsman is too good.He is good as player but his personal life have been bit doggy. But he did a good thing by retiring with honour and not dragging till the selector throw you out.I don't know whether he has changed a person.I think it is not good to come out of retirment and make a mess of it.
How one can say the dismissal of andrew strauss?? really my eyes couldnt believe it at that moment!! Warnie!!!!!! you are simply gr8 with your action and with the amt of spin that you deliver... really u r a magical creature who incarnated for the game cricket... You are a true spinner and a winner of millions and millions of hearts with your legitimate action of bowling and killer instinct!!
You are a true legend in terms of spin bowling. One has to admit that most of the times you got pitches more suitable for pace bowlers and still claiming more than 700 wickets!!! Hat's off to you. As it is said rightly even though Mcgrath is a legend in his own rights but still it is probable to replace Glenn but impossible to replace Shane. You are really that good. Another side of you was exposed when you successfully led the Rajasthan team to the inaugral IPL trophy. You were the best captain in the last decade which unfortunately Australia never had. Anyway salute to you for having the spirit to admit your failures which were really sparse in your long career and learning from those mistakes and coming back stronger every time. Controversies forced you to be out of cricket for almost two years which if were utilised you could have set up a record unbreakable in the next 50 years to come.
Although Murali has got more wicket with better average but I rate you no. 1 coz you have fair action and Muraly has advantage of broken twist. For me you are are all time greatest ever bowler world has ever seen. Hats off to you.

Dunno Whether to compare murli with you...I have been seeing both of Murli and Shane for ages and can only say I liked Shane a lot, the way he bowls is magestic.......hats off to you Shane. I try to imitate shane warne but its a pain cause cant get that spin....lol
