Indians are ungrateful a lot!!!!

Just like they are ungrateful to the sacrifce of M C Sharma who laid down his life for the country.. how can such dubious and sick Indian society acknowledge Bengal tiger!!!

The media is controlled by underworld who put pressure on Ganguly by sending threat to kidnapping of his daughter!!!
Shameful Indians!!! shameful BCCI lobby !!!!!

Bengal tiger is alegend who changed the face of Indian cricket!!!!!!!!

one famous TV channle has declared that as per voting by general public ,93% people feel that Ganguly has declared his retirement due to presuure by some agency and also Ganguly has accepted threat to his family has been given by some group.
shameful!!!
Ganguly is great son of India brought glory to country ,this is the lesson public has to learn

Ganguly did exceptionally well in Pakistan seiries against India. The next series he played is in Australis - which was OK and then in srilanka, where every body collapsed not just him. The pressure on ganguly is very bad. His average was >70 last year in tests. One series result should not let him down. The way he came back to ODI's or in any form of cricket after leaving him is amazing.

His fight back strength is really great. I admire him for the way he came back and made a remark.Though it is important for youngsters to come up now it is fine as long as one is playing well. When did Mike hussey start playing International cricket??? 33! why? Why is sanath still there? Though he didnt do that well in tests series? Mcgain - the spinner who went back to australia - any one knows his age???there is nothing wrong in waiting when there is strength there in the team. I do agree that sachin slowed down past 4 years after his groin injury - even the numbers support that largely - but ganguly was doing well last year. Pressure on him is really bad. Why was he left out in Irani trophy? Why not Dravid? He was not doing well any where!! All politics...

poting should thank indian selectors
by sanjay shridhar ranade on Oct 09, 2008 10:50 PM  | Hide replies

our selectors are paid Rs.25 lakhs(peanuts)hence they are what you know(monxxx).to be world no.1 we need to attack with 5 bowlers.till we do that opponents will score lot of runs and matches will never be won by India.Let us have topclass players as selectors(gavaskar, kapil dev, vishwanath,bs bedi, kimani)

get any selector. nothing vl work. as ind batting line up is fixed for 6 bats with 2 openers n 4 middle order with one already announcing retirement, so he wudnt b dropped. sach cant b dropped so is the case of rahul, lax is good against ausis.
how wud u take 5th bolr even gav, kapil etc. cant take him in the xi.

ponting n umpiring
by vinay on Oct 09, 2008 10:31 PM

one caught n bowled by kumble turned down by ump n not even referred to third ump.
was it a catch or ponting hit the ball on the ground before ball balooning to kumble? it seems it wasnt a clean catch. although kumble appealed, the keeper n slip fielder didnt do much except raising hand for appealing in casual manner without enthusiasm.

but ponting was not given out lbw when he appeared plumb in frong of the wkt.

indian media
by kamal harish on Oct 09, 2008 10:29 PM

Was just watching ZEE news first day report of the test match... really ashamed to see Indian media sinking to such abysmal levels of jouralism...sample this: Australia deliberately played badly against the BP XI so that India could go in with 4 bowlers..the bowling today was pathetic (ever since ICL started it is like this) whereas one felt India did extremely well in containing them to 250 and taking 4 important wickets..another ridiculous thing they said was the "dishonesty" shown by Ponting in not walking for that "Caught and Bowled" showing how desperate and unfair he can be to win this series...Sorry guys we all know the Aussie media is also partisan but they wont sink to these depths...

Difference between Ponting and Ganguly
by Sameer K on Oct 09, 2008 10:12 PM  | Hide replies

Ponting scores and admits he has a poor record in India, while on the other hand Ganguly having Test Average of 30s for 10 years against Aus, Pak, WI, SA, in Zimb and in NZ, keeps boosting, i hv scored consistently for 10 years and blah blah blah. He doesnt know the difference between one day cricket and test cricket and use to boost after being sacked in 2005, saying i have scored 15 thousand international runs and i dont need to prove to anyone. He had scored only 5 thousand runs in test cricket then in 10 years and nearly 90 tests and his averages against gr8 fast bowlers of his time is there for everyone to see.

Ponting atleast knew he hadnt scored in India, and on the other end is the local great of bengal who says blah blah blah as if he has scored runs like Sachin, Dravid or Ponting.

Hi sameer,
some points--
>>Saurav most succesful indian captain ever.
>>Dont forget the era after match fixing fiasco....he has turned a team known as poor travellers..to world #2.Indian started winning test series abroad
>>He has protected his players & given them a sense of security>>
>>He was always aggressive...in his approach which transfers to this generation of cricket.
>>Whenever he played whether its test match or ODI...he plays aggressive brand of cricket...Not like dravid...& tendlya...who sometimes goes in defensive shell ....such like playin 200 balls & runs only 36.
>>About his technique agaist short balls.....well..everybatsmen in world cricket dont like that...Last indian who plays short ball well was only mohinder...
>>Dont forget in crucnh matches or in finals.....when we need a good innings from sachin he always got out early & its Ganguly only who takes on the bowling....
>>except aus/pak he averaged better against most foreign teams... MOre things to say..but no time...

As a person he is best among the others. But as a plyer after becomming captain he is zero. He had scored many runs in ODI. But ahat abt Test cricket. apart from his first series in England he did below average every ware in the world. Except last Pak serice. Even If i play for india 10 years I can score such runs in atleast one match.

I think Ponting will soon overtake Sachins batting record in test match cricket . He still looks very young, fit and hungry for runs

Correct.

I want Ponting to go ahead in runs. His score always helped Aus win the Test/One day.
After seeing Yday game, I have changed my view on pointing. I just disliked his game earlier due to lot of reasons, But the score of 123 is funtastic.

I personelly feel, the shit 5 of Indians cud never ever go near to that metnal & classic game manship.

Bravo Ponting, Sure u will Win the test.
all the best, Also do India a fav, by knocking the shit 5 out off the score sheet completly. U will be hailed as Indian saviour.

Bravo
