Who cares !
by natarajan natarajan on Oct 10, 2008 12:24 AM

Who cares about his retirement, atleast the youngsters and selectors would be happy not to consider him.. the final thing he can do well is to play good and get some runs instead of making this kind of statments .. selectors did their job, why can't he play well and retain his place in the squad ?

Re: Indians are ungrateful a lot!!!!

I totally agree with you that the Indian cricket fans have been ungrateful with Sourav. I always thought that some day they will acknowledge him as one of the top 2 cricketers India has ever produced. But I now feel that they will forget his feats and will remember him as just another of the many Indian cricketers. It's a shame for the Indian cricket followers and the Indian cricket administrators!!

the disciplinary actions from icc is biased n cant b considered. icc is hell bent on asians whereas they vl allow ausis/eng players to do any thing. remember dravid- slater episode when instead of slater, dravid was cautioned.

Better than to be like a spineless chicken like Sachin when touring outside the subcontinent. Saurav by far is the best captain India ever had and the aggressive as well. Punter too is pretty much like DADA in his attitude and thats what makes his successful.

sab nautanki hai...dada has lost his all talents, and when he realized that he will not be given any chance in the team, he decided to quit. though he is not willing to quit, in the either case he wud have been dropped by the BCCI for ever. atlest he can expect a good farewell by BCCI with this decision.

he speaks from the heart.. can you imagine.. how it must have felt.. to be dropped from the team that you made.... how much it must have hurt... and yes.. he will speak out.. this is natural... not just wait.. a can of worms will open.. and the internal politics of BCCI will be exposed...
