100 players
by fellowgoodie on Oct 05, 2008 08:51 PM  | Hide replies

I dont understand one thing. what is his point of picking hundred players. cricket is played by only 8 main countries and 8 X 11 = 88. even if you select his 15 years of experience, you will invariable get nearly 100 players.

my only point is picking 100 players out of a 100,000 makes sense. from a handful of players who play this moronic cricket game, you pick 100 players, that is like a joke.

Hey fellow goodie, in the past 8 years, thats from 2000 to 2008, Indian team has played with 48 players. so for 10 years it should be more than 50, and with 8 test playing nations it should be 400 many domestic cricket players are there in Australia and England. so roughly it should be more than 800, may be even more than that. so he has named 100 out of the total 800. Thats a good shot I guess.

You keep talking about a psychiatrist all the time... Do you go to one, and if not, I think you should... Like go and tell him how you can't get that word out of your head and use it in all comments...

Its a repeat
by VBL on Oct 05, 2008 08:18 PM  | Hide replies

When ever a cricket series starts, all the media starts hailing Sachin Tendulkar. Warne's book was mentioned a long back and the matter is repeated again. No doubt Sachin is one of the best player the World have seen, but why the Indian media gives a lot of attention to all these? Sachin has passed his prime, so it makes no sense to keep on telling the history. Even if you talk a lot about Kapil, Gavaskar, Vishwanath, how this matters now? It really makes no impact.

There is a nexus between Sachin, media and soft drinks companies(Coke,Pepsi).Hype to increase cola sales and increase TRP Ratings. Simple Economics.
