dude... u live in which world??? u know wat has been the scoreline between last 5 SA-Aus series?? Go check the facts.. India has won 2 n lost 3 Border Gavaskar series in past 5 series. U r still living in in the 90s when aus-SA rivalry used to be the premier contest. But if u talk abt last 10 yrs, its Ind-Aus all the way.
it is a disgrace the selectors always relied on the no-spin Kumble and only-googlies Chawla.. Amit Mishra is someone in the classical mould, who bowls genuine legspinners and users googly very wisely rather than getting predictable.. it is a shame he cannot play in the XI unless the useless Kumble retires...

ok you are a guy for numbers.. Hadlee captured 435 wickets in < 80 tests... If you play for 2 decades, 600 is very normal..

Mr Jaggery, Do not ever belittle the achievements of Anil Kumble. He is the greatest ever spinner India has ever produced. Amit is a rookie and all the best to him, but unfair comparisons shudn't be made. Anil has time and again proved people wrong. I don't understand when wud the people let him be and give due recognition.Lets not disrespect an illustrious cricketer like Kumble.

yes. Anil has achieved a lot by getting 600 wkts. But he has to start nurturing some one who can take his place after his retirement. Or else, We vl face situation like Ausi who dont have any replacement for Warne.

How many matches (not even tests) has Mishra played and how many wickets has he taken? If he cannot take wickest at the rate of 4/match even in Ranji / Duleep can he take 4/match (like kumble) in tests?

Let me see which Indian will break Kumble's record...even bhajji cant break kumble's record...not even this mishra or chawla...
