he is an overrated bowler who averaged over 30 in test cricket and was a joke in odis, basically he was an average bowler who had some great perfomances but every indian cricketer gets hyped up btw, the aussies have a much better batting line up compared to india and they play spin well, we should not forget that in their history, oz have won 31 international games against india in india and lost 25 they hammered our indian team in the last test series and the last 4 odi tournaments in india our indian cricketers just posture which is nothing but pitts and for the record india have never been at the top, oz have a great batting line up and prasanna is just a hack who is forgetting that these aussie crickters have won many more trophies than prasanna ever has and they will continue to leave prasanna's fat face, red
I hope the Board is listening the great spinners. It is not assembly that every five years one has to go .It is sports where performance is the yard stick.Let us not introduce norms like 'need for change','reservation','regionalism','religion','casteism' etc in the sports .Politicisation of sports administration is already hampering the growth of sports andf if we permit the same at the sportsmen level then even God can not save the from dying as has been the case with hockey.,uthe
What terms? Left to them these seniors will never quit. They are willing to play even after they are over 40. Indian selectors are the worst in the world. They have no guts to drop seniors. After their dreadful performance in the World Cup and then in Sri Lanka they are still in the team. This itself should tell something about the Indian selectors. The way Dravid, Sachin, Ganguly and Laxman bat these days they would not even make the Bangla cricket team. Even they are ashamed at the way they perform but they just want to hang on for the money.

Jab ek test match khelne ke 5 lakh aur ek ODI khelney 3 lakh milengey to koi kyon retire hoga? on an average 50 lakh test matches ke aur 90 lakh ODIs ke top players kama lete hain...matlab 1.5 crores...agar tujhey saal ke 1.5 crores mil rahe ho to kya tu retire hoga? If you include endorsements and IPL which I haven't included...where would that figure go? Its a question of money dude. and I don't blame seniors for that.
To all who think these people are playing for country your fanatic support suggests that you haven't seen this amount of money in your life thats why you don't know the value of so much money and for those who think seniors should retire a simple question would you retire if you are earning crores? you will only try to prolong your career and care a damn what others think...

To be a "spin" bowler, the ball doesn't need to visually turn 80/90 degrees to qualify as "spin" bowler. Once you start bowling with seam, leg breaks and flippers are bowled off the seam and the ball never turns, but makes very subtle movements that can get a simple edge, an LBW or knock a stump down because the batsman was late to react to the unpredictable bounce off the seam. Kumble has survived with these skills for the past 18 years, getting 600 wickets and still in good shape. I dont think you folks who have never touched a cricket ball in your life, can ever give an educated opinion. You can make all the jokes you want, but it's on you. Be it Tendulkar, be it Kumble or Dravid, none of you, *none of you* qualify to shoot your mouth off.

Yes Raju was a good spinner though he was not a great one. He did play a part in India's victories in the early and mid nineties and was a good ally to Kumble. But talks of bringing him back now are foolish.

Arey use lane ke liyey Azharudding ko bhi laana padega aur captain banana hoga...tabhi Raju team mein aayega
people here think that chawla is future for india..but they are not..he cannot last for long..he can take wickets only in some odd matches..what special deliveries chawla have like murali, warne, kumble and now mendis..chawla gets wicket only with that googly and this is only one special delivery he has..apart from this he is ordinary bowler..only players like murali, warne, kumble and now mendis can play for more than 10 years successfully. this chawla will disappear soon.. i would say brad hogg is better bowler than chawla...thank god chawla is not selected...

absolutely...infact ojha is a better bowler than chawla.....and about brad hogg....he was a very underrated spinner....i have never seen anyone picking him except for the genius sachin.....who used to take him on everytime he faced him....
