How about the Matches we lost since 1996? They all failed miserably in 52 matches. All against the Test playing teams

India's solo fighters for team scoring tons while loosing in Test cricket
India lost 78 tests since 1996 Sachin 9 tons solo fights for team Aus 4 SA 2 Eng Pak NZ one each Dravid 1 tons solo fights against Zim one Laxman 2 tons solo fights against Aus two Sehwag 3 tons solo fights against Aus Pak SA one each and the last Saurav Big Zero tons contributed no solo fight.
These are either solo or sizable resistances while loosing others have not contrubeted enough so we lost. He scores when others soften balling by their pounding. Then the vulture comes to grab the kill

If u think No.6 batsman can give solo fight than oh boy u need mental chk up.

People are already ready with excuses for flops by the toothless and clawless tiger like, 'bad umpiring', etc.
This is a great selection and must say a courageous move by the Board od Cricket Control of India. We wish the prince (Dada) performs better than the soldier (Sehwag) like last time when Sachin-Rahul-Dada made 520 (5-2-0) against 201, by him.

Good selection by Srikanth. we need to select Badri in the playing 11 for the test matches even though he just scored 2 and 14 in the practice match against Aus. What do you guys think about this
Why some people are so much against Ganguly? There is no reason. They are not against Dravid or Sachin. This speaks of bias. May be Ganguly's personality is so overpowering that these guys are clueless. They repeat the same old statistics and faulty logic and Saurav stays plays and comes back. This is like a communal bias. One finds fault with the other however good he may be only because he does not belong to his religion. So is with Ganguly. It is bad that he hails from Bengal. No Bengal has ever played such a long stint. At the back of their mind these idiots try to block the entry of talent to keep their clan only playing the game or doing whatever good things. Idiots come back to your senses. Salute the guy for the goods he has done for Indian cricket. Dont cry like parrots of your fathers More and Chappel. They go but Ganguly stays.
