Players should concentrate on their performance. Players have no right to talk on captain/team members. It might be Gilchrist and Laxman. A responsibility of assessing captain rests with selectors.
If one worried of the team, he should perform and motivate the team members to achieve success.
Afridi should have his plans and strategy to perform. He should not mask his performance by directing others.
Good player always focus to improve on every game.
the problem was none other than Gilchrist and Laxman and didnt do any thing with the bat for Deccan Chargers. Also to make apoint clear, we all know Laxman was captain for only less than half the total matches.If captaincy was a problem why diddnt thay win in the later stages of the tournament when Gilchrist was their captain?? And neither Symonds nor Gibbs or even our own R.Sharma didnt fire. And this Afridi too was a disaster. So it was a total team failure and not the problem of the captain.

I think we should not mix up this T20 league with national cricket loyalties. I do not think Afridi really did whatever he did, because Laxman is an Indian. I admire Laxman very much. In case Afridi makes such comments when he is playing against India, all of what was said is then very well deserved, but not for a club game
