stack by stack comparison.
by pranab(bhutu) on Oct 08, 2008 04:07 PM

I would like a comparison between batting and bolling stacks of both indian and australian teams* excluding the minnows like bangladesh, zimbawe etc*.It will show the reason for indias non performance viz lack of physical fitness and mental toughness. It can be only got if we focus on the basics from a early age. .

last roar of the tiger*
by pranab(bhutu) on Oct 08, 2008 04:03 PM

I hope the tiger from bengal will roar for the last time against australia. It is sad that he is going this way,but I hope the end of his cricketing career will spell a new begining for india.

Statistics issue
by Anita on Oct 08, 2008 02:21 AM  | Hide replies

I have a general question on statistics. If a batsman scores 220 in a innings, The statistics will show that innings score under 200s and 100s but not under 50s. Why?
For example in above Sachin's 248* is included in 100s but not in 50s.

even u score 100, 200, 300, 400 that be considered under century(100s)..

good but not graceful

I dont doubt the credentials of the seniors, but one thing i will like to say is that why these guys are bringing disgrace to themselves after such wonderful careers. See STEVE WAUGH , retire at your peak or atleast before you have decilined much.Bcos people just remember you till your last innings and that to me should always be especial not a dragged one.
regards
A fan of all four

Steve retired at the age of 37. Performance should be the only criteria for game not the age.

No Seniors and Juniors in Professional Sport Cricket
by sheetal on Oct 05, 2008 06:44 PM

There is no word call seniors and juniors in professional sports. Its there only in Jobwork. As long as u perform u there or else perish. Dont keep the players for records. Mathew Hayden replaced Mark Wague even he was a senior and good form. Similary Adam Gilchirst replaced Ian Healy in Test Cricket, when he was in Peak. If the other cricketer is performing well give them a chance and not to allow a player to become a senior for the record sake.

indian cricket's biggest problem are its average or ordinary bowlers
by mahim on Oct 05, 2008 05:02 PM

india have never had a top bowler who picked wickets at a good average
just playing long will bring wickets anyway
average is important

SALUTE THE SENIORS
by thunderstorm on Oct 04, 2008 04:06 PM  | Hide replies

SENIORS SHOULD BE RESPECTED FIRST OF ALL. LOT OF BULLSHITS MEDIA HAVE CREATED. WE ALSO SPENT MORE THAN 5 YEARS IN A COMPANY. THEN IF WE ARE KICKED OFF , HOW WOULD WE FEEL. ITS VERY EASY TO CRITICISE BUT ALWAYS REMEMBER THESE FAB FOURS HAVE ALWAYS DELIVERED IT MATTERED FOR THE COUNTRY. UNLIKE AZHARUDDIN, JADEJA , MONGIA WHO HAVE SOLD THE COUNTRY'S PRIDE ON BETTING. MOREOVER THE AUSSIES ARE ONLY WORRIED ABT THESE SENIORS OTHERWISE YOUNGERS CANNOT CHALLENGE THEM

every senior is once a junior isn't he? imagine your son or a relative is waiting in the wings for a slot in the team and he started waiting since he is 20 and now is 27,but still no luck, how does it feel to you and to him.
