ha ha ha... Tendulkar is no match to Sehwag. Just see the difference while they are playing. One is playing fearlessly just for the team and cricket-lovers. The other is having some ulterior stat/milestone in mind!

It is a joke that a man with so much low in confidence (after seeing the youngsters perform so devastatingly) can still win you matches in abroad!

Anyhow India are really on top again. England's position is just like Sachin's career's position. Very brittle.

Sachin should be embarrassed to be in the team right now! In the past he had "Chelas" in the team who were praising him. But now he is shocked looking at talent-pool. This alone will force his retirement even if he continues politics.

Again streaky four, he is living dangerously there. He should be extremely lucky to get any kind of score today!

hain... woh sab straight hain, isliye tum dono ke baare mey bolraha hoon.. ok?
There are many young talented young player who are in the que to play for india , but people like sachin don't believe in retiring & giving chance to others , he only believes in playing for himself & his records rather than india.

you dumb shah, 20-20 cricket is not considered as a real cricket, let your dohni and the so called young guns play a test or a one day internationl match without the senior pro out side india. you can see the real dance of dhoni & co. 100% sure this young guns are still not fit to play against bouncy pitches i include Dhoni as well in that list, without senior pro this guys will be a big ZERO. even the recent Aussie traingular series was won by Sachin and not your youngsters.

You are wrong. Gambhir also had 2 wonderful centuries in Australia ODIs. Even today's out of form man Rohit had a crucial innings in that final. And you should remind one important thing that in one of the poor-overseas-outings that India had in recent-past (Newzealand), it was Sehwag who stood out from the rest. Sehwag has scored everywhere. Dravid also had done that. Don't stick to the Old Sachin for everything. How will our team move forward if you put down and just keep praising Sachin?

Except for 5 of his centuries, all Sachin's centuries have come in India's winning matches. You can check the statistics. So, he is just not only playing for records as you say. Sachin is without doubt talented. He is still in form. So he deserves a place. Let us also groom the yougsters. Choose some matches like the last 3 of this present series which has been already won, so that they get some exposure.

Well said. Sachin's contributions can be counted on fingers, but true match-winners are natural-match-winners and you will not be able to point out their contributions like this (e.g., Yuvaraj. Can you name all the match-winning performances of this man? Even Dhoni for that matter. Also Kumble when he was at his peak). Sachin was and will always be a big-thorn in Indian Cricket.
It is a shame. Even in this match, selectors didn't give chance to a new comer by replacing Sachin Tendulkar. In fact, selecting him in the one day team in the first place itself is a blunder.

You said it. No one in the selection panel or from the commentators has the courage to say a word against Sachin. Kapil Dev, the one who had shown some courage is now in the wilderness. Even Dhoni has that in his mind but not ready to bell the cat. But I believe, one day, Dhoni will show some courage because he has that in him. Please don't forget, after all sports are there not to please certain people but to keep the everyone physically fit. We must learn to take sports in that spirit.

Well said! Dhoni may need some time. Sachin's politics is too strong, coz he has lots of money. But time will prove that honesty & courage is bigger than money & politics

Just stop talking about Sachin and don't carried away with what indian team youngsters are doing right now. keep in mind they are playing against England and in india. Let Dhoni and your young guns shine out side India and then talk about Sachin. i bet this yound Indian team will be nuts agianst Steyn, nitini m.jhonson in thier own den. they will look like a third division team when they play outside india, you guys will cry bring back sachin, dada even Gavaskar...
