In test match overseas win is more better than home wins like wise test match dravid is good captain b coz india won test series in england that is very big win for india that time england is no;2 position in icc test rankings. than he won against pakistan in india.he is good captain only.anil he didn't get so much chances.he is legand.bad captains is Gavaskar,Sachin

Yes, you can call Dravid as OK Captain and Kumble as unlucky captain. But Gavaskar and Tendulkar were hopeless captains, because they not only put down the nation but also spoiled the careers of few great individuals.

Understand that if few people like us should at least support the youngsters, otherwise these politics will kill their careers.

I agree with u on the point that we shud give chance to our youngsters. No problem in sharing ur views. But if u say something u shud have a point. In the just ended series with Australia Sachin was one of the topscorers on either of the teams. Then why u blame him? Did he do anything wrong? If u say, sack Dravid, I wud agree with u bcoz he have been out of form for a long time now. I believe age shud not be a criteria for one's place in the team. It shud be based on performance only. If one is not performing drop him irrespective of whether he is a senior or not. Even if Sachin is not performing I have no problem in droping him.But when he is performing why u pupil want to drop him?

Thanks. But can you tell me why this Sachin takes rest when he wishes and play when he wishes and also plays in the batting-order he wishes, etc, etc? Why is this special luxury to Sachin? Please answer like my friend, I have no enmity with you.

See its not just about performance, but also ethics. Dravid was ready to open in Test-Cricket, keep in ODI, etc. But this Sachin never cares for the team and team's requirement. It is crystal-clear to everyone and everyone (including Sachin-Fans I'm sure) would not like to break the Gambhir-Sehwag pair. But this Sachin is so brutal and so selfish that he puts his personal-milestones (he can make another 50 centuries if he opens the innings in ODI) ahead of team! I care two-hoots for all his achievements. Even a Ramesh Powar tries to give 100% to the team, even though he is not that skilled. That's what bothers me.

Unfortunate fate of Youngsters
by f f on Nov 25, 2008 02:00 PM  | Hide replies

It is really unfortunate that Yuvaraj & Pujara had to fight for one-place in Test-Team, when both of them deserve to be in. The grabby Sachin still wants to eat money from all three forms of game! How selfish he is! Oh God, I never saw such a selfish-man in the world.

Pupil like u shud be ordered to shoot at sight.Bcoz that will be good for our country. Those who are true Indians wont forget that not too long ago Sachin almost singlehandedly brought here the cup of "tour down under". Even in the series just ended now, with Aussies, had Sachin dint bat the way he did, the result wud have well been 2-2 atleast. Yuvaraj definitely have the talent to be in the test team. But he got a lot of opportunities also. In a full long test series in Australia, even once he cudn't bat well. Let the youngsters earn their place in the team, rather than seniors leave their place for them.

sehwag said "Now I think we have quite a few good options. If I am not in good form, Gautam can open with Sachin and if Gautam is not in good form I can open with Sachin. Walking out to open with Sachin again is a honour to me," said the Indian vice-captain.

If sachin is out of form will he gambir and sehwag open? i dont think so. sachin will open if is in form or out of form.

"Nepotism"? What do "you" mean by nepotism yaar? Here all those who speak for Sachin are not his family members or his frnds. All are those who want our country to do well. Let me ask u one question. Do u have a father? If yes wud u throw him out of ur house just bcoz he is old? Learn to respect those greats who have done something for our country.

Coach: Gary Kirsten
Special Assistant Coach: Sachin Tendulkar (Payment: Sachin's current net remunerations for test odi t20 PLUS his ad-works multiplied by 2 PLUS special donations from each Team member PLUS special compensations from each cricket-lover in India)

Hope this will resolve the issue and the greed Sachin will be satisfied. Because for true Indian-Cricket-Supporters, the important thing is Sachin saving the team from performing, and are least bothered about how much money he eats.

i do not agree with the team at all. Only a cynic can leave sachin out from tests. And if you are talking abt form then dravid shud face the axe.
I feel both sachin and dravid shud be in the team.Give yuvraj one series .If he doesnt perform then give pujara a chance. I knw his record is excellent in domestic cricket and i am excited abt him but remember in domestic cricket jaffer scores a ton every other day and any tom dick harry performs in ranji so lets not jump on the bandwagon and c wat pujara does at international stage

Poor Sehwag
by f f on Nov 25, 2008 11:39 AM  | Hide replies

I pity Sehwag for having to forcibly praise Sachin. Otherwise the Politics may tamper his career even if he goes slightly out of form. I think if somebody in the team doesn't publicly praise Sachin, their careers will be in deep-scrutiny. Only God can understand the pain of Gambhir & Sehwag for having to break their opening-pair for the sake of Sachin.

Those times (especially the Sharjah Episode), people were only concentrating on Sachin and praising him, but not concerned about Team-India. But now, people are happy about Team-India's overall performance. Sachin's monotony is closing, and I'm very happy about that. But still, as long as he is there, youngsters' careers will be in a dilemma

Pujara should replace Sachin in Tests
by f f on Nov 25, 2008 11:36 AM  | Hide replies

Sachin just struggles to make runs in Test Cricket also these days. He struggled to put efforts only to make that highest-run record last-time. All his life, he has done this only (playing for records). Now that he has finished his records, at least now he can make way to other youngsters. If Pujara is not groomed now, then we will miss a great player in the making.

Even though Dravid is also in poor form, Pujara should replace Sachin instead of Dravid. Dravid will still be required in overseas. Don't underestimate Dravid. Don't count him on recent performances in India.

Laxman has shown that he has still in with him. Only Sachin is the thorn. Ganguly should be appreciated for his greatness of accepting the facts (youngsters should be groomed in place of worn-out seniors), thought that he is no more required for the team, and he retired. Sachin doesn't have that open-mind, coz he is only for making-money

Regarding his performance, Him did well rather superb in last test series with Aussies..still u dont count his performance.

One thing is sure, u lack cricketing knowledge? Grown up now.
