If at all, the charges the ATS has rapped on the Sadhvi are true, the Sadhvi is enduring unbearable pain for the cause of Hindus. Hindus have to think what they have done for her, except lip service. I suggest th3e following: 1. Hindus should observe extra fast, save money, and donate the money so saved to Pragya Thakur's parents, so that they can hire the best counsel for their daughter, and 2. Every Hindu should conduct extra prayers for Pragya Thakur. If the Hindus cannot even do this, I will advise the Sadhvi to embrace Islam.
I have noticed that it is often said "wait till this team travel abroad..." (even in this discussion thread). It has been quite a while since the Indian team has become competent abroad.
We won the CB series in Australia and would have won the Test series too but for Bucknor's umpiring (7 wrong decisions against us in the Sydney test). Also, in 2003-04, Waugh barely to save the test and allow Australia to escape with a drawn series.
Last year, in England, we won the Test series and played a close one-day series losing 4-3. But earlier, in England, we have had that famous one-day tournament victory that gave Dada the chance to take off his shirt!
So, I reiterate, we do travel abroad and play well!

Still, they have to prove in big tournaments. Except for inaugural 20-20 WC in which Misbah foolishly gave the the Cup, they could not make it to Semi-Finals and in WC they were kicked out in first round.
They lost Test series in Srilanka and SA.
They won test series against England, thanks to Bucknor who did not give last batsman Shreesanth out Plumb in the last test.. But lost the one day series 4-3.

Using leather for cricket ball is against Hindu principles. We are forced to touch Cow's skin while playing cricket. BCCI should pur some pressure on ICC to come up with a substitute for leather. Would muslims play cricket if the cricket ball is made of pig's skin?

VHP, where were you for so many years. What were you doing then. Or, are you just 1 year old now? Cricket was played for more than 100 years. But anyway, Australia is coming up with some fluorescent balls made from plastic fiber to facilitate playing day/night tests; so that should keep imbeciles like you quite.

i guess u will look into 'shunya' (means nothing) and pray. what can we expect from a shunya... sorry to say these words. i respect other religions too. as vivekananda rightly said - we will grasp the good things from others and leave the bad things in our religion and that is hindu. but just one thing to tell u. to worship, human being needs to concentrate on any particular being or thing. so we have chosen idol worship. btw.. r u a fellow human being on this earth or from some alien space dear "my outlook and views"

Some Miscreants who are Non Vegetarians may purposely induct Non veg foods into veg foods to destroy Purity of Hindus.
One can see a world of difference b/w the way the Aussies conducted themselves on & off the field and the present England team. While the approach of Ponting & his colleagues Symonds & Hayden was at best garrulous, the English team is very much better behaved. One cannot but help agree tht Australia was once a colony of convicts externed from Europe and sledging came naturally to them.

He may not have a Godfather like Shashtri had in Gavaskar, or does not have enough sponsors who can force BCCI to book a permanent position like some guys have, they come and go at their will.
Have you ever witnessed a team that is winning 3-0 go for change under pressure.
Poor Vijay. Such a talented player, but did not get a chance. Poor RP Singh - Took entire Team India to show his Rs 2 Crore Home in Lucknow, and paid the price for it - Dropped on his home ground.
Also, I am sure the winning opening pair of Sehwag-Gambhir will be disturbed in the next match to accomodate a super heavy weight.

Rohit needs the support of Raj Thakkaray.
But is Rohit Sharma really from Bombay , or his ancestors migrated from Karnataka? If the latter is true then no hope for him, Raj will thrash him in Arabian sea instead. :-))

basically rohit is from Hyderabad and i am sure he will be given raw deal as was vvs lakshman
no doubt dhoni is a gr8 captain but as a batsmen he is still not up to the mark. Look at his test performances in sa and aus, there is a clear indication that he struggles against quality pace. Same applies for yuvraj as well, out of 10 odi 100's 9 hv been in the sub-continent and everyone saw how he struggled against australia in australia. And we should not get carried away by this result, remember 2006 when india beat england 6-1 and after that they went and lost odi series in WI and SA, so we should all wait till this team travels out of the sub-continent and then analyse their performances. I seriously have my doubts about the likes of raina and rohit against top quality pace bowling coupled with swing. Even on the dead tracks of india raina was all at sea against flintoff and broad today.

I agree with you. The youngsters have yet prove themselves on foreign pitches. Reg Dhoni we must not forget that he is a wicket keeper captain and not a batsman captain and his contribution as a batsman should always be taken as a bonus. Neverthless, his contribution during the last tour of England were very significant and in fact he saved the Lords test all by himself. It is an unfortunate situation that when we find players we do not like for whatever regional consideration, some of us suddenly become doubting Toms, seeing foul (selfishness), good luck, etc in even amazing performance and consider these fortuitous. It almost makes one feel that we are more comfortable with defeats under our favourite players that victories under other players. Let us not forget that the English team that India had defeated 6-0 was the most trucated side. And Indias defeat in SA was more because of the mental state of the team caused by Chappel havoc than lack of technical skill as was subsequently demonstrated in the test matches.

Pray which Indian batsman was comfortable in the last tour of SA??? Dhoni did very well in England remember. It was only in the Australia series that he was not in form. Even there it was his crucial 38 and partnership with Laxman that helps us to stretch our lead to 400 in Perth and win the test match. Moreover, his keeping has improved by leaps and bounds and he is now without an iota of doubt, the best wicketkeeper in the world.

if you look at our major contibutors overseas in the last 4-5 years it'll still read sachin, saurav, rahul, laxman and sehwag. Sachin and saurav played well in the test series against sa in 2006, dravid and sehwag played well against wi and sachin and laxman had a very good tour of australia, so you don't have youngsters doing the same. Yuvraj had a grt oppurtunity in the tour of WI to get runs and become a permanent member of the test side but he failed and that happened again in the australian tour. But i agree that winning in cb series against australia was special and even there sachin had a major role to play. So my point is when all the senior players go out who will lend the stability to the indian batting. You can't bank on yuvi, raina or rohit to avg 50 in opverseas tours like what sachin and dravid did so consistently for a longer period of time.
