Australia should be defeated
by aniruddh vale on Nov 18, 2008 02:22 PM  | Hide replies

I sincerely hope that australia should be thrashed by south africa and new zealand to banish their arrogant behaviour towards all the teams. It is imperative that south africa and new zealand play their best cricket and beat australia at their home to further aggravate their self doubt created by loss against india.

Reprehensible reporting by Rediff
by Jaunty Quicksand on Nov 18, 2008 07:47 AM

Rediff.com takes one sentence by MS Dhoni and conjures up a whole story, adding a "sarcastic tone" to the statement, no less, with an inflammatory headline to boot. Read through the article and see how little of it is really Dhoni responding to the "Third World" remark of Matthew Hayden. I hope Hayden is as discerning and reads the whole article before carrying a grudge the next time he pads up for his Chennai captain. If he does carry a grudge, then this (and other) websites will no doubt be at hand to break the "exclusive news".

I've heard of making mountains out of molehills, but this is reprehensible. Here the reporter is making up a retaliatory tone and then leading with it, to boot. Shame on you, Rediff!

HAYDEN-THIRLD WORLD
by SUNIL DASWANEY on Nov 18, 2008 01:08 AM

No problem if Hayden calls India a thirld world country! Let's just remind him that the major part of the earnings in cricket is coming from that same third world country of which he is a recipient(IPL).I feel the IPL organizers should ban t people like Hayden, Ponting and Symonds and others like them who want to earn BIG MONEY FROM OUR COUNTRY AND THEN UNFAIRLY CRITICISE OUR COUNTRY AND OUR COUNTRYMEN!I am sure we will have a much better IPL tournament without them?Let's see how they feel when they lose out on the "BIG BUCKS" which i am sure their 1st world country CANNOT GIVE TO THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD WE TOLERATE ANY FORM OF BULLYING FROM THESE PEOPLE.IF HE FINDS US TROUBLESOME THEN JUST SIMPLY STAY AWAY FROM OUR COUNTRY.IT'S AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!!!!!!!!

Hyden's Remark on India
by Guest on Nov 17, 2008 02:45 PM  | Hide replies

It only exhibits his maturity. He is physicaaly grown but mentally immature. He and his Australian team have only flourished under Steve Bucknoor. One should not be surprised if Australia pull out of future tours if Steve Bucknoor is not officiating the match.

Hayden is like most bodybuilders. Big body and brains up his Aussie ass.

I think Mr Hayden he still comes to India with his begging bowl to earn his 375,000 US dollars salary from IPL.

Maybe he should peddle his mom's ass to get that money.

Poor Aussies
by kushagra bansal on Nov 17, 2008 02:35 PM

Mr. Hayden belongs to a first world country where people dont have cloth to wear. Often they come into ground nude begging for cloth.Hayden and other aussies r earning a lot of money by playing in IPL launched by a Third world country. Throw hayden and other aussies from IPL as they dont deserve to play in India.
Its an old habit of aussies whenever they loose they start critcising conditions rather than analysing what went wrong and how to improve that. Bloody loosers

The Aussies are always bad losers , and Mr. Hayden has once again proved it. The ICC should take strong action against such players . It defeats the spirit of the game. No doubt we are a DEVELOPING COUNTRY ( so called third world country ) ....but we have a royal heritage & rich culture ...not like Australians who can trace back their origin to deported convits .

Let me guess whats going to happen next..Dhoni will be penalised with few matches ban for countering Hayden's statement..Akram is no more playing so good for him and Hayden maybe just reprimanded for making such comments in first place..wierd cricketing world!
