And you are surprised? You know why? Because you are blinded by your regional biases. Its about time the Indian journalists, including Rediff give the dues to Yuvraj Singh. How many times this talented player needs to prove himself? Indian team won the T20 tournament on the basis of Yuvraj's batting. He holds the world record for the six sixes against an international level bowler. He slammed a century against the Australians in the warm-up games but he was ignored. Some cats like Dravid, Sehwag, and Laxman have more than nine lives despite repeated failures. But Yuvraj gets thrown out of team on single failures. Why? Ask yourself?
When Yuvraj made a ballistic 138 against England at Rajkot, Indian media posted a small article in the corner, for example, "India posts highest total at home" (Rediff). Within the article you will see a small mention of Yuvraj Singh.
Now compare that against the cat with more than nine lives - VVS Laxman. When he scored a century after long seven years of failures. Rediff screams, "Laxman glad to end a seven-year wait".
The regional and religious biases are making these journalists blind on the facts. They cant seem to see beyond their narrow minded views and personal choices. I expected better from Rediff ...

Yuvraj Singh for the past couple of years has been a steady member of the One- Day team. His test record is very poor. If you remove one knock, his average is 22. But in ODIs , he's the star player and one of our major match winners. You have to learn to distinguish.
