Pujara (just 20 years) scored two triple century in one week last month in the CK Nayudu Under-22 then another triple century in ranji trophy making partnership record worth 520 runs, the second-best partnership in Indian cricket and the highest fifth-wicket partnership in any first-class cricket, beating the unbroken 464-run stand between the Waugh twins" cricinfo.
this youngster pujara seems to b a talented batsman with the huge hunger of playing long innings. he was man of the series of the junior world cup 2006, n now is riding high with 3 triple centuries within just 20 days. his other notable performance being the single handed battling century against delhi to save his team from a sure defeat.
the astonishing is the only word, that comes for him. 308 runs of 421 balls. keep it up.
i hope srikanth vl look at his consistent performances, as he is known to acknowledge performances n talent just like m vijay.

Certainly true. In fact even against NewZealand A team also he was succesful. Looks like Pujara is technically correct batsman. They should use him test matches only so that technique doesn't gets corrupted because of T20 version of cricket.

i agree that he has hunger for scoring big runs esp in longer versions of the game. n a technically sound batsman can b useful in any form of ckt.

Great news, I was thinking of rubbishing your post because it is of a batsman, but after reading it - I believe you have won our hearts by pointing out such a talent.
