I hope that the forthcoming England series will be interesting. Frankly, I did not enjoy the Australia series. Can we recollect an Australia team in the recent past that was as much pedestrian as this one? Only, the team led by Kim Hughes in 1977-78 was weaker than this team! No praise is sufficient for the Indians for humiliating the world champions; however, let us hope that they will not be complacent against England.
Let us not underestimate them on the basis of just one performance. They are well disciplined and professional lot unlike Australia. Their performance against strong NewZeland side in recent one dayers should not be overlooked.
good thing is that aussies ploy nowadays backfire on them. they tried to eliminate gambir who is in good form by intimidating him and make him elbow watson. Indians took it as a challenge and beat them even without Gambhir. the same happenned in australia this year when hayden intimidated harbajan in radio. Indians again took it as a challenge and beat them in the ODI series.

One such performance will not be sufficient to quote his consideration in INDIAN SQUAD. We should give chanc to only consitant performers.

waho-all play for themselves- the poor fatty offspinner was there in team in place of mishra, just because of dirty maratha politics. Vengsarkar was a flop as captain still he has the courage to criticise ganguly, so was sachin a flop as captain and we all know how good a team player was gavaskar- his centuries never won india matches- it was kapil who ignited the passion of winning-- these marathis can play under shadows of someone else. similar to the one- if mumbai is vacated by bihari, gujrati and marvari- they will do nothing

You know someone called ajit wadekar who won test serries in west indies and england as captain .Why you guys so jealous of mimbai
test team, but only a good ODI team, because India does not have fast bowling allrounders. As long as we do not get fast bowling allrounders, India will never reach the top in ODIs. Irfan Pathan is not an allrounder. He is a bowler who can bat a bit.

I thought Irfan has been transformed into a Batsman who can bowl a bit now. Thats why he is not a regular in the team now.
