Actually
by Srinivasabalasundaranataraja pennalasekharan on Nov 12, 2008 12:55 PM  | Hide replies

Dravid's era is gone, he had his best moments and all the seniors are just concentrating on extending their money making status.
Sachin just recentely brought an old house for 45crores and trying to spend 30 crores in building a posh house. For that to happen he knows that he has to continue playing. If sachin retires suddenly his yearly income will come down drastically and his dream house idea will be hit hard. I'm sure he will continue until his house is built.

Sachin is in the team because of his performance..... His present house is worth 20 crores and his wife is daughter of very well known surgeon and he also a big shot. don't worry about the payment to be made for his new house. see the figures and resord of Sachin. He is not like Shreesanth - characterless

I accept that, you don't have to see the records, he is undoubtedly greatest player but not anymore.

Probably you don't know as much as I know about sachin. So dont worry .

If you say big shot, probably you are comparing it to yourself. But he is not that a big shot to spend 20 crores just like that ok

Infact my name nowadays is a problem for me also. I have to write this everywhere. and most of the times there is no enough space. Thinking of shortening it , but its a big process.

It has my last 3 great grandfathers names.

Dravid dropped from ODI
by shakti kapooor on Nov 12, 2008 12:43 PM  | Hide replies

The fact is off late he was not scoring runs (his primary job) he is also not the most astute of runner between the wickets, he is certainly not a brilliant fielder in the outfield and currently Indian team dont have any wicket-keeping vacancy to salvage his career once again! Also the recent 20-20 triumph has thrown upon many potential youngsters who right now are just warming the benches. Given this scenario the selectors could hardly be faulted in their decision.

now itsd time for Dravid to quit & take sanyas.

One third of a starting career, one works for hardly anything. The 2nd phase (1/3rd) one gets compensated for whatever he/she delivers. The third phase(1/3rd)one delivers very less and earn really more. This is possible, if you complete 2/3rd properly. Be it profession, personal or sports, this is the cycle.

Let the Seniors enjoy.

Dravid ............ victim of his own high standards....
by ajmal on Nov 12, 2008 12:18 PM

Dravid should relaxed and enjoy the cricket. Now there is no responsibilty on his shoulders like wicketkeeper,captain..dependance..and so on..... He got a chance forget the old things and enjoy the cricket...
